I hung up my mobile phone, walked over to the square table, and sat down. While I was there, I looked at the children and said, "is it delicious?"
"Delicious!"
The children all talked at the same time.
Dylan put a piece of steak and said, "Mom, ah..."
"Mom has already eaten, you eat!"
Dylan gives me the thumbs up signifying that he wants me to eat.
I really couldn't help myself, so I grabbed a fork and started eating the meat, and all I can say is "well, it's wonderful!"
Dylan's cheeks are flushed and his grin is broad and bright.
"Eat. After you've finished eating, mom will take you downstairs to play."
Throughout the whole day, I didn't spend a lot of time with them. Another week has passed since I finished my task.
