Turns out, the reason why Aiden could act so freely around the guards is because they are all his guards, whom he trusts and have pledged alliance to him. They are his shadow guards, and thus, there was no need to hide anything from them because he knows they will never tell on him, and even if they do, Aiden is way too composed and just assures me that he knows how to handle it.
