Do I truly want to be the Queen Consort?
No. That is the answer. I have no desire to be the Queen consort, or to participate in the selection to be honest. What I do want however, is a way for me to escape being in this pack, and this realm entirely.
I cannot possibly leave on my own. No matter how much I want to leave, there is no certain way for me to leave safely other than through the selection. From the moment I become part of the selection, I have some sort of immunity that I could never have as a lone wolf.
However, I cannot tell him that, for it would only make him more wary of me, more than he already is at the moment. It is best if I can use the selection as an excuse, for me to want to be close to him I mean after all, Prince or not, at
