My whole body felt numb to a certain extent, kind of like there is a huge weight keeping it down, making it impossible for me to move. My eyelids, they felt heavy as well that attempting to peel them open proved to be a hassle. Still, I managed to do so with great effort, only to be welcomed by blinding lights.
Thankfully, I had only parted it slightly, so I closed it, then tried to open them again, adjusting to the light. It took a while, but I successfully managed to open my eyes, only to be welcomed by the ceiling above. My brows drew in, lips curled into a slight frown as confusion settled in on my mind.
