"Come, sit down," Roslyn's voice came as she closed the door behind us, making her way further in first before gesturing to the space of her bed, the space beside which she settled down.
I offered her a grateful smile, appreciating teh action as i whispered a small 'thank you' under my breath. I settled down beside her, the bed dipping underneath me as i intertwined my fingers in front of me, then lifted my head to meet her gaze just in time her voice came again.
"What is it, Aurora?" She inquired, her voice soft. "Is there something troubling you?" She seemed genuinely concerned, and i found myself feeling bad for all i had thought about ehr before, of how i thought she was a snob and all. Who would have thought we would end up being this close? Close
