D-Day

D-day

I didn't notice the time, one month has passed now. And tomorrow, 7am are my flight to south korea.

I packed up my things that I needed to bring with me. In the past 2 weeks before my take off, we have escorted my mama to our province to see my papa. We stayed there for one week so that we can have some bondings after two years. Mama's house in there was near to the ocean, and I promise you that it was so refreshing, no polluted airs. You can easily be comforted by the wind and by just looking at the ocean. When I was young, when we haven't moved to Manila. 3 in the afternoon to 5, I was just looking at the beauty of the ocean while eating a banana and sweet potato. One of the reason why I can't go to the sea is the fact that I can't swim. One time at the age of 6, me and my uncle decided to play to the sea, I didn't go to the deeper side of the sea, the water is just above my knee. My uncle knows how to swim, so he decided to swim towards to the deeper side of the sea while me, I was still playing at our spot. I was busy grabbing sea shells and rocks from the sand when I was confronted by the wave, I fell down and I was already laying down and When I'm about to get up, a wave suddenly confronted me again, I didn't know what to do that time. I felt like my energy wasn't enough to get myself up, I was almost drowned that time. I remember calling my uncles name, gladly, my uncle came back and hand me a hand to get up. Maybe if my uncle takes time to comeback, I'm probably dead because of my stupidity. hahaha I maybe find it funny, but I swear! That was my near-death-experience.

After our mini vacation in our province, Beatrice and I met up at the mall and spend our time together. We did shopping together and played to the arcade at the mall. We had our chikas and dramas together, I would probably miss her. It's been a while since we go outside together since we are both busy with our studies. After we spend our time to the mall, we decided to have our goodbyes to each other before we got home.

And tomorrow is the day when I was about to leave. I have so many memories to bring, from my family, and beatrice. I suddenly felt sad about the idea of leaving. But it was now settled. I can't take back now. Regarding on my studies, I already have a school to enroll in there. My only problem is that I'm not still fluent in korean. In our company, my boss said that it doesn't matter what language I would use while I was in there. But, I need to know the basics so that I can communicate to the people outside our company. When I got in there, I have a 1 week to let myself know my place and to explore seoul! .

As I was spacing out while looking at my things, I felt sky jumped to my bed. Aw it is the last time that I can feel and play with my big girl.

"Sky, you want to come with mommy?" I said as I rubbed her belly. She likes it when someone was rubbing her belly and getting babied. I wanted to bring her with me but I'm going to be much busier in there. So she's going to stay in here with mom and dad.

Sky licks my hand and bite it softly, I laughed at her and grab a toy for her to bite. It's 8:30 in the evening now, and I'm still playing catch with sky. I should be sleeping right now but I want to take this last opportunity for me to play with my big girl. I want to spend my remaining hours in here playing with my baby.

It's 11:00 in the evening when I decided to sleep because I can't be late for my flight tomorrow, so with that I carry sky to my bed and sleep together...

"Eliza, wake up in there it's already 5am" mom said as she taps my shoulder for me to wake up. Honestly, I don't have enough sleep. I can't stop thinking and worrying. But I pretended that I just woke up.

"Good morning, mom." I said as I looked at her yawning.

Mom smiled at me with a little sadness on her eyes,

"Good morning sweet, dad and I prepared for your breakfast so let's eat now before you take a bath"

As I was staring at her, I know that she felt what I was feeling right now. I just smiled at her and says,

"I'll follow mom in a minute mom."

She smile at me and answered,

"Okay, we'll wait for you in the kitchen" she said as she walks out to my room.

I let out a deep sigh. I felt like my body is being dragged down so that I can't leave.

I immediately followed mom and went to the kitchen, dad was wearing his apron! hahaha it's been a while since I saw him wear one.

"Dad! hahaha it's been a while since I saw you wearing a apron! It looks so small on you!" I said as I teased him.

Mom giggles and dad frowned at her,

"Your mom forced me to wear this even though it's small on me!" dad complains

"It's a sign dad, that you need to go back to your work out!" I laughed.

"Hmp, anyway let's eat. We prepared your breakfast and especially your coffee!" I smiled at him, I'm gonna miss his coffee for me.

"I'm gonna miss your coffee for me dad" I said as I looked at him with sadness.

He held my hand and smiled at me,

"It's okay sweet, I would send you the recipe of dads coffee so that you can prepare it while you are in there."

I hugged him as he said that. I wanted to cry but I he would just scold at me.

After our breakfast, I take a bath and get my things to be organized at the car. They escort me to the airport with sky. As soon as we get into the airport, I get my things to the car and hold my passport.

"Mom, Dad take care in here. Promise me to take care of yourselves and sky." I said as I was looking at them, I was teary eyed and they are too.

"Yes sweetie, promise daddy that you will take care in there." I smiled and hugged them. A tear drops on my cheeks. I kissed their cheeks and says,

"Goodbye for now mom and dad, I will see you soon, I promise." I smiled as I taking my step at the entrance of the Airport.

Sky barked at me when I was waving at them, my heart broke as I walk inside and hearing sky's constantly bark. She probably wanted to come with me.

As I was already on the plane, my seat is beside of the window. I started to feel so lonely. I miss them already.

Mom, dad i'm gonna miss you. please take care of yourselves. I promise you that I would make you proud when I get back in there. I love you guys so much. I'll see you soon next time.
