Dinner

I woke up at the sound of my alarm at 6:30 pm. I checked my phone and it has 5 notifications, 3 for the group chat of my family and 2 are from unregistered number which is Chris.

I forgot to put him in my contacts, I open the message of my family first, mom send a picture of sky and her in the living room and she says that she take sky for a walk for today and sky are super excited. I replied to her,

"Did sky exhaust you? with laughing emoji" I exit our group chat to check chris message. But first, I added him on my contact.

He said that his practice is until 7:00, and he added that he will fetch me at the bus station since he doesn't know where I am living.

I decided to get up and fix my bed, I take a snack out of the refrigerator. I don't want to fill my self up right now so that I can enjoy our dinner.

After I finish eating the snack, I went in to my bathroom to wash my self. After that, I dress myself up with a black highwasted pants and an oversized tshirt and white shoes. I don't out any make up on my face because I don't feel wearing any make up.

When I finished dressing my self up, I go back to the living room and get my sling bag that I use earlier. It's already, 7:15 pm in the evening when I received a message from Chris saying that he's on his way to the bus station. After I replied to chris saying that I'm on my to the bus station too, I immediately get my things and leave.

As usual, I locked the main door of my apartment. I putted the keys at my bag and went to the bus station. It's not that far from my apartment so probably I got first before chris.

As expected, I was the one who got here first so i'm going to wait for chris. I was scrolling to my phone and suddenly a black car stopped at the bus station, at first I thought that maybe it was waiting for someone so I didn't bother looking at it and keep scrolling to my phone. But the car beeped that made me look unto it. As I looked at the car the window of the car goes down and It was chris. He wasn't wearing a mask, but I recognized the color of his hair. He smiled at me and says,

"I was calling you, you haven't heard me?" He laughed as he went out of his car to open the door for me.

"Sorry, I thought it was someone" I said

"It's okay, hop in" he said as he opened the door for me.

I went inside his car and he went back inside. I buckled my seat belt. And he also buckled his seat belt.

"How was your day, shai?" He asked while his glance ate in the road

"It's okay, I'm going to comeback tomorrow to submitt all the needed requirements." I answered.

"How old are you tho? Isn't it hard to be a working student?" He asked.

"I'm 20 at international age while here in korea I was 21, at first I have a hard time being a working student, but at the time goes by, I get used to it how. How about you? How old are you?" I answered

He looked at me and says,

"I'm 26 years old at international age while here I was 27. I'm older than you, so consider me as your brother in here" He laughed.

"You don't look like 27 years old tho" I said while laughing

"Yes, because I'm too handsome and I have baby face as you can see" He said while smirking at me.

"It suddenly felt so windy in here, huu" I said teasing him.

He glared at me and I laughed at him.

We keep on chitchatting while we are on our way to the restaurant. He is easy to be closed with. He's funny and has a sense of humor. He even said to me that he liked a girl from their company but he's too scared to confess his feelings for her. I suddenly felt so happy while I was listening to him. The way he rants to me and even tell to me the girl he likes. I felt like he was my brother.

We're here at the restaurant that he booked for our dinner for tonight. We ordered steak and pasta with garlic bread. While we are waiting for our food, he asked me

"So, how was your love life?" Love life? Ever since I don't have any romantic relationship with anyone.

"I don't have one ever since" I answered

He looked at me with a confused face,

"Really? Why tho? I mean, you're pretty why don't you have one" he asked.

"Being good looking is not a requirement to have a relationship with someone, before you enter a romantic relationship, make sure you have the commitment, trust and never ending love for that person. Duh" I said as I rolled my eyes on him and laughed.

He laughed at me and said,

"I know that, duh" he rolled his eyes back at me

We laugh at each other and continued telling stories about our lives. And after that, our food came and eat it.

It's already 9:00 in the evening when we decided to get back home because it's getting late and he has a early roll call in their company. He drive me up to my apartment and say good byes to each other. It's indeed an happy dinner with chris.

As I enter my apartment, I immediately went in to my bathroom to wash my self before I sleep. After I take a bath, I wore a pair pajamas and did my skin care routine at night.

And after that, I layed down in my bed to get sleep since I am going to run some errands for tomorrow. Hay I never knew that I would be this happy on my first day here in Seoul.
