A little while into the party, I noticed Valindra together with one of her sisters, the younger one, I believed. We hadn’t been introduced yet, and I grew worried as I saw them together.
However, as I watched them out of the corner of my eye while trying to focus on a conversation I had with some of the guests, I saw the two of them smiling and laughing while drinking together. It seemed a bit suspicious too, but I couldn’t just run right over there and demand to know what was going on.
I had to wait a little until I saw my opportunity to get out of the conversation I was having, and when I finally did, I excused myself before finding Valindra and her sister together a little further away from the bigger crowd.
They were still laughing and looking like they were having a go
