Hope of future

AT MIA'S POW:

Last think  I remember was Christian carrying me to the pack hospital. I started to feel dizzy when we almost reached pack hospital my body gave up and I lost consciousness.  After some time I heard hospital monitor beeping and some medicine needle in my hand. I tried to open my eyes but I did not succeeded. I felt my inner wolf muttering that our mate  is came. I wanted to open my eyes and tell Christian that I alright but that did not work no matter how hard I tried. My wolf was also desperate to see her mate. But I was not able to open eyes and see him.  I felt my mate holding my hand and sniffing, I felt his tears falling on my hand. He was crying! I never saw him crying before. I felt how he get up and left. I did not wanted him to leave me but I was lying on bed unable to open my eyes or move my body muscles a bit.

AFTER MONTH

AT MIA'S POW:

I don't know how long I  was lying like this. I just felt time slowly passing by and I was still same. Unable to talk with my mate and cheer him up a bit. I was not understanding what kind of coma I had. I felt their moves and coming in my hospital room and leaving their voices and their tears but I was not able to response to any to them. I wanted but I couldn't.  One day I heard how my pack beta Alex came to see Christian and gave him some food. I knew that Christian was almost not eating and I did not wanted to make him weak. I tried to open my eyes and I slowly felt that my body is slowly starting to listen to want I want him to do. If this keeps going on probably I soon will wake up. My inner wolf also felt this. She tried her best to make my body faster to recover. After some time I felt that I can move my fingers a bit and I moved.

- Mia?- I heard Christian hopeful voice.

I moved finger again and opened my eyes a little. 

- C-christian.- I whispered his name.

- Mia!- He shouted my name and tears started to fall from his eyes.

- Don't cry.- I whispered.

Then I saw doctor coming closer to me and smiling softly.

- I am pack doctor.- She said. - You were in coma more than a month.

- Mo-re than a month?!- I was shocked.

- Any pain or other feelings you feel now?- Doctor asked.

- I feel okay.- I said. - Only one weird thing.

- What do you mean?- That woman asked.

- Well when I was at coma I felt everyone touching and talking I felt like my body was paralyzed. I wanted to open my eyes but i couldn't.- I said. 

- Hmm...I heard of it before.- Doctor said and took out small book from cupboard. She opened book and started to look for something.- That is called „Fake coma“. - She said.

- Fake coma?- I looked at her confused.

- Fake coma is coma type when people are using special plants to make a drug to put person in deep sleep for purpose to wake him up latter. That kind of this was used in old times when they wanted to be sure that their victims not gonna return to their love ones.

- Oh god.- I whispered shocked.

AT CHRISTIAN POW:

When I heard that someone possibly used this kind of drug on my mate I felt how my blood started to boil inside me. I wanted to find that person and kill him with my bare hands.

- That probably was someone of rogues.- My inner wolf said.

- I know. - I said to him.

I looked at Mia and saw how shocked she looked like. She probably never thought that someone can use this kind of thing on her.

- Mia.- I sat near her and hold her hand. - Do not worry nobody is gonna harm you again. And if someone gonna try their luck they will be ended.

- E-lias?- She muttered his name. She sounded scared of him.

- He is dead.- I said.

- Alpha killed him a first day you were took here.- Doctor said.

- Oh God.- Mia said.- Christian are you okay?- She asked.

- Now that you fine I perfect.- I said.

- Her status seems fine she can leave hospital in few days.- Doctor said.- But she still have rest most of time and don't think of running a lot. I gonna bring her some food to eat.- She said and left.

- I glad you alright.- I said and hold her hand and kissed her fingers.

- Christian.- She blushed and smiled. - I am strong and I not gonna leave you.

I smiled and felt how my wolf was relaxed since he now knew that his mate is alright. I felt him slightly purring and trying to nuzzle to his mate. After some time doctor came with bowl of soup and handed to me.

- I think you should feed her.- She gave me small wink to me only to notice and left.

- I can eat myself.- My mate said but I  wanted to do this to her and started to feed her soup.

 I watched her slowly eating and I was glad to have her close to me. I wanted always to keep her safe and protected and that is what gonna happen now. Nobody is gonna harm. I do not care what I have to do but I gonna keep my Luna safe. I kissed my mates hand and watched her slowly falling asleep. I gently stroked her hair with my fingers while feeling how my inner wolf was purring.

- Alex?- I called my pack beta.

- Yes Alpha.- He said.

- Make sure every exit of our pack territory is protected. I want to know everyone who is leaving and coming. No uninvited guests. - I said.

- Of course Alpha. I will make sure every exit is protected.- Alex said and left.

Nobody is gonna come here and harm my Luna. I love her and everyone who will try to do it will see what this pack Alpha can do. And I felt my inner wolf nodding in approval. He also like me wanted his mate safe.

SOMEWHERE CLOSE WITH ALEX

- That is what alpha ordered to do. Do your job right. We will protect our pack and our Luna.- Alex said.

- Yes Beta!- Everyone said in unison.
