AT CHRISTIAN POW:

Today I gonna find out everything about Adrian, his Black paw pack, and why he is calling my mate black shadow. That is a kinda weird nickname, to be honest. I was watching my mate sleeping peacefully and was glad that she is alright, but I could not forget that she is hiding something from me. I want her to be honest with me, not to hide some secrets. After a few mins, I got a message from the servant that Alex is waiting for me in my office. That probably means that he finally found some information I asked him to look for. I went to my office and saw Alex already sitting near my table.

-You are here already.-I said.

-Yes, Alpha.- Alex said.

I smiled. Finally, I gonna know what the hell is going on. And why my mate acting so different lately.

-Tell me everything you know.- I said.

-It is a long story Alpha.- Alex said and sighed.

- I have time.- I said while frowning slightly.

-Alright. So the Black paw pack is one of the strongest packs already known. They are well known because of their made weapons. Adrian is that pack leader, or you should call him to pack Alpha. He is a rough and rude person. He does not like lying and hiding secrets and his punishments are always painful, mostly deadly. He does not have Luna, but he always wanted to have a mate woman whose nickname is „Black shadow “. That nickname is given not without a purpose. That woman is well known to Adrian and other packs. Some pack wolves are telling that she is even worse than him. She got this nickname because she usually kills her victims in the dark time and mostly nobody even can't notice her. She once killed five wolves in one night. Everyone and I mean everyone is scared of her. She is like a walking shadow who kills without leaving any clues. Also we now know that a few years ago everyone started not to notice her anymore. Some people think that she vanished, others that she died.

AT CHRISTIAN POW:

When I heard those words I was in complete shock. I could not believe what I just heard. So in our pack black shadow is death thing. I never in a hundred years gonna believe that my mate could be evil like this. She is kind, sweet, gentle, and not brutal. She is my mate and I am pretty sure that Alex is mistaking. And if I need I gonna find truth myself.

-That is all you know?- I asked him.

-Yes Alpha.- Alex bowed and left.

I was quite shocked and then I heard the door open and I saw Mia walking inside my office.

-Mia?- I looked at her confused.

-Christian.- Her voice sounded pretty cold.- We have to talk.

-Alright. Sit down.- I said pointing to the chair.

She sat down and looked at my eyes quietly. After a few mins of silence, she started to talk.

-You saw Adrian yesterday. Probably you heard how he used a black shadow nickname on me. He did that with a reason.

- What do you mean Mia?- I asked her while looking at her worried.

-Well... My life story is way more different than you think. I know that you gonna hate me after I tell you this, but it is better to know the truth than get in trouble because of me. Yes as you know my whole life I spent with Blood moon pack but in one of the pack meetings I met Adrian. I was a kid at that time. He is a little bit older than me but at that time he looked handsome to me. He flirted with me all the time and I liked it. I never thought that he is doing this because of a particular reason.

- What reason?- I asked with a bit mad voice. This kind of conversation is starting to piss me off. I looked at her a bit mad. I do not want her to hide any secrets from me.

- Well, Adrian knew that I am strong. He wanted me became part of his pack. I never actually wanted that but since in that time I was young and stupid. He seemed nice and I was lured by him to his pack. His pack at first place seemed to be nice and I liked everyone around me but after some time I realized that they only using me for my powers. I tried to escape from them several times but I always failed. And one day I succeeded to escape. And since that time Adrian is chasing me and trying to bring me back and I was able to escape from him somehow. - She said and I realized that everything that Alex said about her is true.

-Mia.- I said.- Why you never said to me this before? It is not good to hide secrets from me.- I said. 

-I never wanted to hide anything from you.-She said.- But my past life is putting you, me, and our baby cub in danger. I do not want to get any of us hurt. That is why I wanted to keep everything as a secret.

I frowned. I was kinda mad. I do not like it when she is keeping secrets from me. Why she does not trust me? I am her mate, damn it! I felt how my inner wolf started to get even madder and growl inside me and I could not handle him and he jumped out of me growling. I saw her freezing in fair. I felt how my teeth started to show up and I started to growl at her. I saw how her skin suddenly got pale and she fainted. I caught her after a few seconds and I got scared when I saw her unconscious in my grip. DAMN IT!
