If I Don't see him Close..

I made a mistake once— A big, gut-wrenching mistake. I let another woman—my own sister—steal my husband. Would I really stand here and let it happen again? Let some rude-mouthed college girl walk into this house and take Liam right from under my nose? “Mother, you can’t be serious right now…” I said, voice cracking as emotion tried to choke me. “Liam isn’t home, and the best thing—the only right thing—is for her to leave. Let her come back when he gets back.” My words meant nothing. I stepped closer, face-to-face with the woman who hated me like it was a sport. Every day, I feel it. Like I should’ve stabbed her a million times, and maybe it still wouldn’t be enough. She didn’t say a word. Just brushed my shoulder as she walked past me like I wasn’t even there, like I was dust.
