** The next day **

There's still a few hours left for Jolene to live, her body already changed into a blue color and it was swollen already.

Jolene's mother couldn't stop crying, her father already ordered her to be sedated since she can't control herself.

The Lycans have been thrown into sorrow, they are about to lose a very sweet and kind king.

The Lycan kingdom was unusually quiet, no single activity was going on as everyone seemed to be in a sullen mood.

Jolene's father already contacted numerous doctors but they were all saying the same thing, some said they can get the antidote but Jolene might die before it would be gotten.

The most painful part of it all was that he is going to be watching his daughter die without doing anything.

Paulene started her fake tears yesterday to the surprise of everyone including her parents, she was really a good actress as no one would ever believe she was the one who poisoned her sister.

Harrison couldn't help but grow more annoyed, the devil shed the most tears.

He has been with Jolene throughout hoping and praying for a miracle to happen.

"Can you just mistakenly blink your eye so I can still have hope?" He pleaded, staring at unconscious Jolene who just laid like a log of wood.

He almost cried but held back himself, his heart aches badly.

"You're the strongest lady I have ever come across, you should put your devilish sister into shame by surviving this. I know it's impossible, just try to fight death Jolene, don't give in to the cold hands of death. How do you expect me to live with your death? Do you think I would be okay?" Harrison muttered as his eyes grew watery.

He took Jolene's cold hands and placed them on his eyes, he then cried silently.

"Maybe I was just going to accept her devilish offer, I have no choice, I can't let Jolene die." He muttered and suddenly wiped his eyes.

"I am sorry, I have to do this," he said and stood up immediately.

He just has no choice, Jolene has just three hours to live if he doesn't get the antidote.

"I just need to f**k that shameless thing," he spat and head towards the door immediately.

As soon as he opened the door, he bumped into a guard who was about to come in.

"I am sorry, I didn't know you were coming out." The guard apologized and Harrison sighed.

"What do you want?"

"A lady wants to see you privately, "

"A lady?" Harrison asked to be sure and the guard nodded positively.

He wondered who the lady might be, he doesn't have a mother, sister or even a female friend other than Jolene.

"Where is she?"

"She is at the lobby," he replied and Harrison left for the lobby without saying any other word.

He got to the lobby and truly met a young lady, she doesn't look familiar and hasn't seen her before.

He doesn't know everyone in the Lycan kingdom.

She bowed immediately she saw him,

"Young woman, why do you seek me?" Harrison inquired with a stern face.

The unknown lady suddenly pulled Harrison closed, he slapped her hands off immediately.

"Have you gone insane already?" He yelled angrily.

He guessed she was one of those prostitutes working at a brothel, why did they allow her in?

"I am sorry, I don't just want anyone to hear our discussion, the poisoner might be around."

Harrison's attention got drawn immediately and he shifted closer to her.

"What do you mean?"

"I want to discuss something relating to our Alpha," she said and he paid attention immediately.

"Do you know who poisoned her?"

"No I don't but I am sure it's someone close to her." She replied and he sighed.

"So what do you have to say to me?"

"My name is Zelda, I found this while washing at the stream." She brought out a small bottle of colorless liquid and immediately gave it to Harrison.

"What's this? Is this not water? Are you trying to play a trick on me?" Harrison suddenly raised his voice and Zelda signaled for him to calm down.

She stood on her toes and whispered a sentence into his ear.

"It's the antidote, the one that will be used to heal our king."

Harrison's ears and eyes widened immediately, he couldn't believe it.

"Are you serious?"

"Yes, I know what the antidote looks like, I am sure the person who poisoned her must have thrown it into the stream so no one would ever find it. But because the moon goddess wants our king to live, she made me find it.

Harrison couldn't express his joy, he hugged Zelda passionately.

"Thank you so much, you're the moon goodness sent."

"I would take my leave, please make sure you inject her with this before it's too late." Zelda informed and smiled before leaving.

Harrison held the antidote like a treasure and smiled, he was literally the happiest on earth.

Had it been he slept with Paulene, he would have regretted it because she doesn't have the antidote.

She already threw it into the stream and still wanted to have her way with him cunningly.

She is just too smart!

Harrison got a syringe from the pack's clinic without being noticed and rushed back to Jolene's room.

He extracted the antidote into the syringe and injected her immediately.

He waited for up to five minutes but nothing worked, his heart was racing wildly as he thought he might have been fooled.

"Please just wake up," he prayed with shaky hands but nothing happened.

He then realized he had been fooled, " how dare her?"

Suddenly, he noticed her body color went back to normal and her swollen body came down

His heart jumped for joy.

"Oh my God! It's happening, I can't believe this." He screamed like a little child.

Then it happened, she moved her fingers and her eyes opened next.

"Jolene!* He screamed and immediately covered his mouth.

Jolene sat up immediately wondering what happened and why he was screaming.

"This is f*****g real!" He screamed again and immediately hugged her tightly, tears of joy slipped out of his eyes.
