Chapter 34

Author's POV…

"I need to see her tomorrow, bring her here, '' Jolene requested.

"Sure I will,"

"Do you have any idea on who she might be?" Jolene asked as she took another gulp.

"I haven't seen her before but I would make sure I find her and bring her to you like you've requested." Harrison replied and silence ensued between them.

Jolene continued drinking at non-stop till she got drunk,

She was about to grab another bottle when Harrison seized her hands,

"That's enough, you've taken enough Alpha." Harrison stopped her but she smiled instead.

"You're so cute," she whined and suddenly pulled his cheeks, Harrison sighed and helped her up.

He knows she was drunk already so he decided to help her get back to her room. If not, she might just sleep in the lobby.

"I warned you but you wouldn't listen, I don't know why you decided to get drunk." Harrison muttered and placed her hands on his shoulders.

He then led her out of the lobby but she refused to walk, she toppled on her toes instead.

"I wanna fly, I wanna fly!" She sang and tried releasing herself from his hold but he held her tightly.

"I knew this won't end well, just see how you look so stupid while drunk." He snapped but she giggled instead.

It took almost forever before they got to her room.

He opened her door and dropped her gently on the bed.

She suddenly pulled him closer and smiled like someone who was bewitched.

"What the heck are you doing? Get back to your god damned senses!" He yelled but she suddenly kissed him lightly shutting him up immediately.

"My cute teddy, you're just too cute." She whined and kissed him again.

Harrison gulped as his heart raced, he touched his lips and smiled. He finally got a kiss from the lady he loves even though she was drunk, he doesn't care.

In Jolene's eyes, Harrison was a huge white teddy.

She suddenly hugged him so tight.

"I adore you a lot, I feel so warm while hugging you, my teddy." She said and Harrison smiled, her words melted him completely.

She might be seeing him as a teddy right now but to him, those words sounded as if they were coming from her heart.

"Will you sleep with me tonight my teddy?"

Harrison didn't say a word, he didn't want to break from the hug, he could feel his gear eat racing wildly.

"Gosh! I am so hungry teddy, can you make me pancakes?" She requested and suddenly began crying for real.

"I am hungry," she cried out and Harrison broke the hug.

"I swear if you try getting drunk next time, I am going to…."

Before he could complete his statement, Jolene vomited on him and after a few seconds, she fell into a deep sleep.

Harrison squeezed his face feeling so irritated,

"You're going to pay for this Jolene! I warned you not to get drunk because I know you become crazy once you're high."

He could still remember the last time he got drunk, she was crawling around and crying for no reason, she didn't even allow anyone to come near her.

He saw hell that day!

"Gosh, I am in a mess." He muttered and left her room quietly.

He went straight to his room and pulled off the shirt Jolene vomited on, he tossed it into the trash can immediately.

The light kiss scene popped into his memory, and he smiled widely immediately.

Her lips were so soft on his, he wished she knew about his feelings, he was so scared of confessing his feelings for her.

As an Alpha, she might just reject him and he is also aware that Jolene feels nothing for him.

He had no choice than to keep it himself.

His door was suddenly flung open, Paulene came in looking like someone who had gone insane.

Her hair was scattered on her face and the mascara on her eye stained below her eyes.

"You have a knack for barging into my room without permission, what are you doing here murderer?" He mocked and tears slipped out of her eyes, he cared less anyway.

"Why did you do this to me Harrison?" She asked in a cracked voice and he scoffed.

"Did what? Aren't you ashamed of yourself? You should be thankful to the moon goddess that Jolene decided to keep shut about what you did to her. You have been cooling your feet at the prison by now, "

"You literally ruined my plans,"

"Did you say plans? All you have always plotted in your life are evil things. You should know something Paulene, I hate you more than I do before, you disgust me!"

His words sank directly to her heart and she held her chest.

"But I have apologized, you should forgive me if she doesn't."

"An apology is not enough, what if she had died. Even though Jolene forgives you later on, I would never do that."

Paulene closed her eyes tightly and took a deep breath.

"But why would she give me those conditions? They are meant for slaves and servants,"

"Do as she says if you don't want your evil act to be leaked out, I have spoken more than enough with you. Leave my room this minute!" He ordered but she tried to step closer to him, he stopped her immediately she took a step forward.

"Don't you dare step an inch closer, get out!" He yelled.

"Stop screaming at me, it hurts to be hated by the one you love, my heart aches badly." Paulene cried out and Harrison laughed loudly.

"Are you sure you have a heart because if you do, you won't have poisoned your twin sister. Just leave when I am still nice," he ordered calmly but Paulene was proving stubborn.

"We should try settling scores…" he pushed her out before she completed her statement and shut the door on her face.
