Chapter 35

** Two days later **

Jolene's POV…

"Haven't you found her yet?" I asked Harrison as we walked down the hallway.

It's been two days since Harrison began searching for Zelda but she hasn't been found.

He has searched every single building and has asked about a lady called Zelda but she hasn't been found.

What baffles me the most is that no one knows anyone Zelda, is she from another pack?

"No I haven't but I won't give up, maybe I should search for her at the stream, who knows if she lives there since she found the antidote at the stream." Harrison said and I sighed.

"Inform me once you're ready, I will go with you."

"Okay I will,"

"You should go do something else, I have a meeting with my father, mother and Paulene."

"Is there any problem or are you planning to tell them the evil deed your sister committed?" He asked and I chuckled.

"Not at all, I want her to apologize to father and mother on her knees for all the troubles she has caused them. She wouldn't dare say no," I said with a sly smile and Harrison laughed.

"I wish I would be there to see that angry look on Paulene's face,"

"You should go supervise the pack, see ya later."

I diverted into another hallway leading to the room where I am to meet with my parents and Paulene.

I entered the room and met my parents and Paulene on their seats, Paulene stood up immediately she saw me.

"Father! Mother! Is she the one you said wants to have a meeting with us?"

Oh! They didn't even tell her,

"That's right, sit down, let's listen to what you have to say." My father said with a smile and she gulped.

She hesitated before sitting down, her hands were shaking already.

I guess she thought I wanted to expose her evil deeds. Well, I am not the type that breaks promises.

She promised to abide by my rules and obey my commands if I don't tell on her so I am going to just do just that.

"Good morning father, Good morning mother " I bowed and took a seat opposite Paulene.

She was feeling very uncomfortable and restless; there's no peace for the wicked.

She looked at me with pleading eyes and I smiled.

"So what do you want to discuss with us?" Father asked and I cleared my throat.

"Well, Paulene…"

She stood up immediately interrupting me in the process.

"We need to talk Jolene,"

"We are in the middle of an important discussion, we can talk later." I replied to her simply and she bawled her fist.

Gosh! This is becoming so interesting!

"It's urgent and very important, I won't take up to a minute, please!" She screamed and k stood up immediately.

"You don't yell at your Alpha, sit down right now!" I commanded and she sat immediately.

I smiled satisfactorily, this is going so well.

My parents were shocked, the Paulene they know can't stand another person commanding or screaming at her no matter who the person was.

"I am sorry, let's continue." I smiled and sat back.

Paulene was already sweating, she was looking so scared.

I have never seen Paulene in this state before, I hope she changes for good once I torture her for months.

"Actually, Paulene has something to say to you both." I said to my parents and she looked at me swiftly.

"What do you want me to say?" She mouthed and I just smiled.

"What do you want to say, Paulene?' they both asked, facing her and a huge lump formed in her throat.

She kept mute for about two minutes and I spoke up immediately.

"She wants to apologize for all her wrong doings and all the troubles she has caused you both." I said and Paulene looked at me surprisingly.

"Oh really? What changed?" My father asked, he was so surprised.

"Let's say, she has decided to become a good girl," I said with a knowing smile and Paulene folded her fist angrily, she glared at me and I blew her a secret kiss.

"Paulene, you should apologize to them now." I said and she scoffed.

Is she not going to do as I say?

In the next minute, she stood up and stormed out, I was shocked.

She is really bold and fearless, how dare she!

"I would be right back," I said to my parents and went after her immediately.

"Paulene! Paulene! Have you gone insane?" I yelled loudly at her, she was already walking down the hallway.

I caught up with her and pulled her by her arm.

"What! Why are you doing this to me? Why are you trying to make things I don't like?" She screamed back at me and I chuckled.

I guess she has already gotten back to her old self.

What happened to the Paulene that was looking so calm and fearful last night?

"Have you forgotten our deal last night or you want me to expose you?"

She yanked off her hands and face me,

"How are you sure that I was the person who poisoned you? Am I the only one in this building? Must you believe everything Harrison tells you? I wasn't the person who poisoned you so quit this nonsense, you can't command me anyhow and want me to throw myself on your feet."

Like seriously? What happened overnight?

"Why didn't you deny it when I accused you last night? I could still remember how you begged for my forgiveness in tears last night, how dare you try to act like nothing happened?" I screamed, stepping closer to her and she gulped.

"Whatever! I am not going to do as you say, I am not your slave!" She snapped and walked away but I drew her back and slapped her soundly.

"What do you take me for? A fool or what? The most annoying part of it all is that you're so shameless, you deserve to be locked up in the prison. I won't be soft towards you anymore, you need to be treated with an iron fist. You f*****g poisoned me and you still had to guts to debt ever doing that? What kind of a devil are you? " I screamed angrily at her and she flinched.

"I have no time to mince words with you, just go in there and do as I say. If not, you would regret it." I threatened but she still stood on a spot.

"I thought you said I am your sister, why are you threatening and abusing me physically?"

"I have heard you clearly say a number of times that I am not your sister. Go in right now and stop asking silly questions!" I commanded and she rushed back to the room immediately.

I smiled proudly, I am going to keep threatening and making her do things she doesn't like until she changes for good and realizes all her silly mistakes.
