Chapter 11

Jolene's POV…

I couldn't believe my eyes, I and the lady's resemblance was so striking except for the slight parents.

I looked over to my parents for an explanation, they also had a surprised expression on their faces.

Why weren't they saying anything?

Someone should f*****g tell me what's going on her before I go crazy!

I looked at Harrison, he wasn't surprised at all, did he know her?

"Please just calm down," he whispered to me and I gulped.

The way he sounded means he knew something,

Who the hell is this lady? Why do we look alike? Why did she just barge in and disrupt the feast? Why aren't my parents saying anything or are they waiting for me to speak out since I was now the new Alpha?

The lady got to where my parents were and looked over to me and then smirked.

I need it's time for me to speak up, it's my coronation day and I can't allow any motherfucker to ruin the day I have been patiently waiting for years to come.

"Who the hell are and how dare you barge into my coronation ceremony?"

"Dad! Mom! You f*****g gave her my position? I thought she was dead a long time ago? You both went to look for her because you think I can't handle being the king of the Lycan kingdom?" She yelled angrily and my parents kept mute.

Dad? Mom? Can someone just just tell me what's happening because I don't understand a single thing that's happening?

The fact that my parents aren't saying anything gets me more annoyed! Is she their secret daughter or what?

"Twin sister, you stole my position and I am never going to keep quiet, I am back now and no one is stopping me from becoming the Lycan king!" She yelled at me and suddenly walked in dragging her two big boxes along.

"Father! Mother! You both should tell me it's not true! I had a twin sister?" I asked, feeling heartbroken.

Why did they keep the truth from me all these years?

When I saw none of them was ready to give me an answer, I stormed out of the hall angrily.

"Jolene! Jolene!" I could hear Harrison calling my name but I ignored him till I got out of the hall.

He soon caught up with me and pulled me by my hands.

"You should remember that this is one of your biggest days, it's your coronation day, you shouldn't allow anyone to ruin your big day for you." Harrison said and I looked at him with teary eyes.

"Are…you…crying?" He stuttered and I slapped the hands he was using to hold me back.

"I can't believe I have been lied to and fooled by the one I trust including you!" I yelled at him and he gulped.

Harrison also knew about my secret twin but he kept it from me, I could still remember the first day we met four years ago at my welcome party.

He mentioned that I wasn't like my sister and when I asked him about it, he covered up with a lie.

"Don't just talk to me if you don't want to see my other side!" I warned and immediately walked out while sniffing.

I almost cried but held back my tears, an Alpha isn't supposed to cry easily although I was hurt badly.

I got to my room and locked it immediately.

I pulled off my cocktail dress and trashed it immediately, I went under the shower and had a cool bath.

I am not interested in the coronation ceremony, they should continue without me.

I wore something light and fell heavily on my bed.

But why did my parents keep my twin sister away from me or years? Why didn't they keep her here with them? I guess they weren't expecting her to show up all of a sudden, I could see the shocked look on my parent's faces when she revealed herself.

Maybe I should go talk to my twin, who knows if she was kept away from here against her own wish and was really mad at anyone.

If we were twin sisters, I am not supposed to take over my father's position, we should both rule the Lycan kingdom together. Taking over my father's position makes me selfish.

But why can't I remember any of our childhood memories if she was truly my twin sister? I can't remember having a twin sister during my childhood before I got lost and was taken to the werewolves abode.

I suddenly heard a knock at my door and I immediately knew who it was, it must be either my parents or Harrison and I am not ready to allow them in.

"Who is it?" I asked loudly,

"It's us Jolene, please open the door and give us a chance to explain things to you." That was my mum's voice and I scoffed,

So now they want to explain things after my coronation ceremony got ruined?

"Go away, I don't want to speak to either you or father,!" I yelled and I could hear her sigh.

"You know we have a reason for everything we do, open the door and hear us out please.." My mum pleaded but I ignored her.

"I know you must be mad at us right and we are so sorry, please open the door and give us a room for explanation."

Maybe I should listen to her, I am also craving to be given an explanation.

I hesitated before standing up and I slowly opened the door for them.

"Jolene, I am so sorry." My mother suddenly hugged me and I sighed.

I disengaged from the hug and went to sit on my bed.

My parents stood in front of me and I waited patiently for their explanation.

"So? You both should start talking," I requested impatiently and they both sighed.

"We are sincerely sorry for keeping this from you all these years and I hope you understand the reason why we did it. She is your twin sister, we noticed she was stronger and had a few of the Lycan abilities at a very tender age. She used her abilities to hurt you and anyone around her, we tried so hard in controlling her but she grew worse.

We had no choice than to send her to my mother, your grandmother who resides in the human world. Grandma knows how to train and control her better, when she turned sixteen, she was brought back here.

She changed and was more quiet and calm until after a week passed, she began showing her true colors. She killed two of her maids due to anger issues," My father explained and I gasped.
