Chapter 12

Jolene's POV...

Oh my goodness! She is worse than I thought to the extent she kills because of stupid anger?

My gawd!

My father continued and I listened attentively.

"We tried to caution and control her but she refused to be tamed, she was so violent to the pack members that we had no choice than to send her back to Grandma. But she unexpectedly showed up today,"

I sighed heavily after listening to my father's explanation. Gosh! My twin is a dangerous one, I guess that's the reason why they never told me about her.

"But don't worry, we will send her back by tomorrow unfailingly." My father promised and I looked at him swiftly.

"No! I want her around, I can handle her. But it's not fair if I was given your position, we are both one and we are to rule the Lycan kingdom together." I objected and my father shook his head negatively.

"No Jolene! We can't have two captains on a ship, one must subdue to the other. You have been chosen and have been crowned, no one is stopping you from doing that okay?"

"Are you sure you can handle Paulene? She is quite dangerous," My mum said worriedly and I sighed.

So her name is Paulene? It sounds similar with my name too,

"Of course I can, she is your daughter and also my sister, no matter how dangerous or violent she can be, we have to accept her like that, we can't just push her away." I said and my father smiled at me.

"So are we forgiven?"

"Yes you are both forgiven," I replied and we did a group hug.

"The ceremony has come to an end, I am sorry it got ruined but nevertheless, you are now the king of the Lycan kingdom. Congratulations daughter," My father said and I smiled proudly.

"I will go talk to Paulene, you both should go have a rest, your daughter is in charge." I said dramatically and they both smiled at me.

They soon left and I exhaled sharply, I hoped Paulene would listen and understand me.

I was glad that I had a sister, I wasn't the only child at least. I would make sure I treat her well, I hope she just understands and we move along very well.

I got out of my room to search for Paulene, I bumped into Harrison who was leaning on my door.

"My goodness! How long have you been here?" I queried and he sighed.

"I just got here, I am so sorry Alpha, please forgive me!" He pleaded with a remorseful look.

"Fine, I have heard you, we will talk about this later. I need to speak with Paulene." I said and walked away but he suddenly blocked me.

"What?" I asked wryly and he hesitated before speaking up

"Be careful when you're with Paulene,"go he warned and walked away.

What does he mean by that? Not like my sister is a kind of wild or dangerous animal.

I ignored his words and began searching for Paulene.

I asked from the maids and they directed me to the room she was in. She picked one of the spare rooms at the topmost floor of the building. Weird!

I inhaled and exhaled sharply before knocking softly on the door.

"Who is it?" I could hear her unfriendly voice ask.

"It's Jolene," I replied softly and didn't say any other words.

I waited for a minute hoping she would allow me but she kept quiet, I had to go in myself.

I met her with two maids, they were busy on her hair while she was busy playing games on her phone, popping gum loudly.

"Leave, I need to speak with my sister." I requested and the maids bowed slightly before leaving.

"Step an inch and you both would lose your legs!" Paulene ordered coldly and the maids stopped there.

I turned to the maids and signaled for them to leave, they ran out immediately.

"So, because you got crowned as the Lycan king, you think you can give orders anyhow?" Paulene yelled standing up.

"I am not here for a quarrel or a fight, I want peace to reign between us. We are sisters and…" She interrupted me immediately.

"Point of correction! We are not sisters but mortal enemies so don't you ever address me as your sister." She warned and I sighed.

She must be really though,

"Paulene, please calm down, I know you must be really mad at everyone, especially father and mother for abandoning you with grandma but I understand you." I spoke calmly to her and she laughed loudly.

"I am mad and angry at you only, I am supposed to be crowned as the Lycan king but you stole my position. That's why I had hated you with passion right from when we were young, I wish I had successfully killed you when we were young." I was shocked at her utterance, this is more serious than I thought.

"So do…you…mean..you attempted…to kill me when we were still kids?" I asked shockingly and he nodded positively with an evil smile.

"Yes, I tried to kill you twice but I couldn't succeed though the second time, you lost your memory because I pushed you down the stairs." She confessed without no remorse and I covered my mouth in shock.

"What! Paulene!" I yelled as tears formed in my eyes and she laughed loudly

"Why did you hate me this much? What did I ever do to you?" I asked her, feeling damn hurt.

"You didn't do anything to me, just that father and mother showered more love on you than they did on me. They always complain about everything I do, they send only me to stay with grandma while you live a princess life with them. And now, you have stolen the position I have craved to be in since when I was young. My goodness! I am so mad right now," she muttered and clicked her tongue.

Now I understand the reason why my parents kept her with grandma, she is a psycho.

She was the one who made me lose all my childhood memories, that's why I can't remember anything that happened while I was young.

I think after she pushed me from the stairs, they sent her to grandma and I got lost a few days later.

My parents must have been through alot.

"Now I know that you're a psycho, you shouldn't be kept with grandma but should be locked up in a rehab." I spat out and she gasped.

I am not going to be soft with her anymore, if she doesn't want peace, then I would go for war.

"How dare you!" She yelled and made to harm me with her claws.

Just with one kick before she got to me, she landed on her dressing mirror and it shattered into pieces.

"I am that weak and soft Jolene you have always known,"
