Sa gilid ng site ay hatak-hatak ni Ariana ang kamay ni Jace.
“Seriously, Jace? Ano ba talaga ang meron?” Ariana’s voice was trembling, not with fear but insecurity.

“It’s part of the project,” sagot niya.

She stared at him for a long second.
“You’re lying to yourself, not to me.”
