I spent most of the next day working on the research Raul needed. It felt good to keep my mind busy, and I got a lot of work done.
“Gabby, I’m going to go play some cards over at Roger and Minnie’s house. You should come with me,” My Grandpa said.
I didn’t think sitting around playing cards with the old folks sounded like much fun, but I need a break. He has been kind enough to put up with me these last few days, “I could use a break from work,” I said as I stood up and stretched.
“Wonderful, we will leave in about fifteen minutes,” he said before he walked upstairs.
