Chapter 8 Seeing the Badboy again

TWO WEEKS LATER AFTER Clara left.

Alyssa's P.O.V

I was sitting in my bay window of my house when I looked out the window I heard voices, and saw Landon and an older woman who was probably in he mid thirties or forties. She was extremely pretty for an older person. The weird thing was they were on my front lawn, talking with my mom. I stopped staring, when I heard a knock on my door, then I pulled myself out of my thoughts. I opened my door to my little sister Page.

"Come on." She says but I don't understand what she meant.

"What do you mean?" I ask her really confused.

"Dad asked me to come and get you so you can start your physical therapy." She tells me slowly so I can understand.

"What are you talking about I don't start seeing the physical therapist until Monday." I reply, she rolls her eyes and starts saying to me.

"Dad is helping you with physical therapy starting today."

She the drags me down the stairs and to the backyard where I see my dad stretching and then he starts talking.

"Okay are you ready to start." He asks me.

"Dad do I really have to do this, I seem to be doing fine plus I was at a really good spot in my book." I say.

"What book are you reading that's better than working on your health." He asks me I gasp in disbelief at the fact my father practically just insulted me, hey you insult my books you I insult me.

"Provoking Love by Sasha Nichol." I reply then his face drops.

"Dang it that is a really good book, curse the fact that lots of books are really good." My father says to me.

Then Peter walks out and starts talking to both of us. "Mom said to get dressed up for dinner we are going to have company." He says and then leaves.

After Peter was in the house, I immediately left the backyard and went back up to my room to get ready for dinner, and knowing my mother she will most definitely want everyone to dress super nice, so I go with a nice flowy high-lo dress with flower print on it.

When I get down the stairs I see that my mom is wearing a black dress with only one sleeve.

Then I see Alexis dress and think I feel like there is a black theme I don't know about.

Yet somehow I still managed to wear black, but one thing was really surprised about was the fact that Lexi was wearing heels. I don't doubt that my mom made her change out of her converse to some heels, which is probably why she looks so uncomfortable. And the fact that she is in a dress might be adding to that.

As soon as my mom opens the door I am totally shocked at what is staring back at me, or should I say who.
