EPISODE 11:*The Final Confrontation*

443 Words
I was still recovering in the hospital when Mr. Hanson's men came to kill me and get the evidence. But Roberta was quick to spot them coming towards our room. She quickly carried me out of the hospital and we hid in a small store room. The men entered the room with guns in their hands, but they couldn't find us. After they left, we returned to the room and I lay back on the bed. We immediately informed Captain Rockson, who came to the hospital with his men and arrested the would-be assassins. Captain Rockson also informed us that the evidence on the phone was enough to arrest Mr. Hanson. He had gotten the authority to go with us and arrest Mr. Hanson. "We leave immediately," Captain Rockson said. "Vicent, are you okay to travel?" I nodded, still feeling a bit weak from my injury. But I was determined to see this through. Two days later, we set out with Captain Rockson and his team. Mr. Hanson had gone into hiding, but Captain Rockson had placed spies at every important point. The two men who had burnt down my house were arrested after a shootout with the police at Mr. Hanson's house. Later, Captain Rockson got a tip that Mr. Hanson had been spotted at the airport. We quickly rushed to the airport with Captain Rockson. As we arrived, we saw Mr. Hanson trying to board a flight. Captain Rockson and his men quickly surrounded him. Mr. Hanson saw Roberta and begged her not to let them take him away. "I love you," he said. "Please don't let them take me away." But Roberta didn't even flinch. Instead, she turned to me and held me tight, kissing me passionately. "I'm sorry," she said to Mr. Hanson. "But I'm done with you. You tried to kill me, and now you're going to pay for it." Captain Rockson and his men took Mr. Hanson away, and we watched as he was led off in handcuffs. We had finally gotten justice. Mr. Hanson would pay for his crimes, and Roberta and I could finally start our new life together. As we walked out of the airport, hand in hand, I knew that we still had a long way to go. But I was ready for whatever came next, as long as I had Roberta by my side. We would face the future together, free from fear and danger. And we would always remember the journey that had brought us to this moment. But our story isn't over yet. There's one more episode to come. Stay tuned for the final episode of "Love from the Morgue"!
