"So, how is your plan going? Ready to break of them chains yet?"
I smile,"Oh, don't worry, I've already taken care of them." Before she has time to process what I just said, I bring one of my hands, that I've been breaking the chain with as we spoke, round to the front of me and blast her with a force that will stun her, but not kill her. Kidnapper or no kidnapper, she was kinda cool. Once I get out of the room, I don't stop to look around, I just run. When I need to get out of a place, a sort of sense kicks in that guides me to the exit, meaning it takes me about a minute to find the exit to the building that I was in. It's dark so a moment of disorientation hits me untill I see a bright flash of lightning. Eh, like I have always said, Zeus has always loved the dramatic entrances. "Hey, a but late aren't you. I already got myself out."
"Oh really? Try looking behind you." I slowly turn. Crap, this woman has an army. I see rows and rows of people with weapons, looking at us. Well, you can't really call it rows, more like an organised grouping of people with large ass weapons. I scan them for the woman in the room. My senses find her before my eyes. Again with the heart crushing. God, this woman is heart broken. I look at her. Her eyes the only thing that I can really see because of the darkness, are now a bright green, the kind of bright green that goes straight through you. She looks sorrowful, but then she tears her eyes of me and to Zeus. They go darker and the feeling I get from her even darker. She feels so envious, and if you didn't think it possible, her eyes go even greener.
Zeus steps forward to my side. "We need to get out of here."
"Who is she?"
I hear his heart rate increase,"Now Rayelle!"
I can feel the electricity of the storm that's brewing at Zeus's will above us. I look up at him, a giant force standing there next to me, who is only about 5 foot 6, and suddenly feel ice running down my spine, evading my space and making me as frozen as his perfect, emortal face. No. That's the only thing that I can process when I feel where he is directing the force. To her. Why should that bother me thou? What is it about her that makes me want to make her better, protect her from the God that has practically, whether he did a good job or not, raised me? The thunder bolt that will strike to kill starts coming out of the swirling mass of greys and blacks. I'm still frozen, looking wide eyed when the bolt is seized with another mass of energy as it gains speed and heads towards her. I can see each electrical peace of light as it sources down towards her. It is as if the lightning recharges me, giving me motion and making my heart jump, as the black heavens are made all the more enchanting. I make the decision then, to tamper with the cause of Zeus's rath, and when the lightning hits earth, sending electronic currents down to its core, it doesn't hit her.
He grabs my wrist with a strength that I am sure had an intention of hurting me and rips me from the place with another bolt of lightning. However, not before I saw the look of shock, and then the look of fury in the woman's eyes when I was taken away, into the lightening that now came in great networks of sharp knives, raining down towards hell.
