6: Into the wood

I felt the fury in his electricity as he pulled my through his force field, back down towards the home I had known my whole life, now turned to ash. Already, I saw the Gods and the others gathered to rebuild the place that was meant to be undefeatable, their egos probably a little broken. But known of that mattered in the presents of him and what I had done. I could see how he clenched his jaw and fists, scowling at me through those black, stormy eyes. He took one look at me, curling his lip back, and then stalked off towards the dark patch of wood, knowing I would, unwillingly, follow...
The suffocating mist creeped up to me as I followed, deeper, and deeper, leaving the scenery it blocked out to my imagination. The ever growing darkness helped it blur the trees that were becoming more dense with every step I took. Their thin, poisonous claws reaching towards me, grabbing me, trying to hold me back, but just making me bleed as they rip pieces of flesh from me. I should probably listen to them, turn back, were it wasn't just me and him in the dark wood. But, I don't, I never have when it came to him. He's the only one that can control me, make me scared.
After what feels like a miserable lifetime, I come to a clearing, to where he's standing, glaring.
I gasp, trying to somehow get myself out of this, "I-".
"Don't." It sounded almost calm, but the warning shut me up like a fist to the throat. "Just, don't."
I don't know how long we stand there in silence, but when he brakes it with a movement, I can't help but jump a little. The twigs snap under his foot, and I imagine that's what he wants to do to me, what he has been doing. Braking and snapping untill I finally become the perfect vision, the perfect daughter. But I'm not his daughter.
"If you want to say something, spit it out!"
He stops, his whole body buzzing, his eyes giving off a sparkle as the corners of his mouth turn upwards in a discussing smirk when he snires, "That, was a big mistake!"and then, he lunges for me.
