Knock Knock The sound of knocking on the door of the hospital room immediately woke Eveline, who sat up straight on the sofa. She was startled. Eveline had been sleeping so comfortably and soundly that she was still blinking her eyes to shake off the drowsiness she was still feeling. Before she could react further, the door to her mother’s hospital room opened, revealing someone carrying a fairly large bouquet of flowers.
