The war was finally over. We had defeated Jared and the Skin Walkers that came to destroy our pack. That didn’t stop Rafael from worrying though. He told me about how Jared had been killed by Jamar and I couldn’t help but tell him what I saw Amber do in the safehouse. That was nothing though. In light of the aftermath from having a battle on our pack lands, we now had to worry about JD and Amber becoming the new Alpha and Luna. They weren’t ready and they even expressed that. When JD kissed Amber, she had transported him to what she called Alafia’s meadow. Somehow they’d been found by a goddess named Ozu who said all of this was meant to happen this way. I didn’t know how I felt about any of this. Amber and JD had a decision to make and it wasn’t going to be easy.
