~ SIENNA ~ My room was a mess — not a bad mess, a good mess. The kind of mess you have to make first in an attempt to restore order. Clothes were draped over every surface, shoe pairs were at opposite ends of the room, cosmetics were hidden in unconventional places like a treasure hunt. After nearly two weeks of living in Margo’s house, I was finally sorting out my belongings and trying to make this space feel more like mine. Of course that meant that the beddings had been changed from a plain white sheet that regrettably reminded me of hospital beds to a baby pink floral sheet.
