The annoying sound resonated through my pounding head.
Make it stop.....
Blip....Blip....Blip.....
The sound seemed so near, yet it was out of my reach.
Where was I?
Everything was so dark, so silent.... My only companion was the constant blipping sound. It was as if I was in a dark abyss. There was no light, no shadow, no silhoutte...
I wanted to run, get out of this infernal nothingness... But I was trapped.
The darkness slowly mended into something... something more recognizable. A path?
I could suddenly feel my legs, my hands, my aching body....
Run!
I began running through that tunnel....
Light!
I could see light!
