15BrennaDarkness enveloped everything. No matter what direction I turned, there was nothing. I was trapped in a void. All I could remember was releasing the spirits and feeling a sharp pain. Next thing I knew, I woke up there. I wasn’t sure how long I had been in this darkness: Minutes, hours, days, weeks…time seemed like a distant memory.
I sat, hugging my knees, and let my mind wander. I wondered if I would ever be free, wondered if I would see my friends again. This wasn’t a dream—this was something else. In frustration, I screamed and beat my fist into the ground.
“Only here for a short time, and already losing it.” A voice said from behind.
