Chapter 3

Eloise

I immediately went upstairs after breakfast and brought out a pair of white sneakers and some black Jean and white tank top then a matching black jacket got dressed for school picking up our car key I made my way downstairs checking my watch it was 7:50am “s**t” I cussed out walking to the kitchen to pick up our packed boxes of lunch “Stefan let’s go” I said as soon as I saw him already outside I locked the door and got into the car waiting for Stefan to buckle in his seatbelt before zooming out. I’m a very good driver and Stefan loves my driving.

Mea must be in school by now she rarely comes late I smiled at the thought of her, I can’t wait to see her. Things would’ve been better if she just stopped pushing everyone away and let me be close to her if not I’ll do anything to get her to talk including bullying her and annoying her. I get so frustrated sometimes and I just vent on her for reasons she’s oblivious to.who gave her the right to be in my dreams every f*****g night touching me in place no one else has making me go crazy. There was this time I gathered the courage to make out with a girl a few years after looking up reasons why you feel attracted to same s*x and seeing the results, I just figured I should try another person. I went to a bar in the city and sat alone some guys approached me but I felt nothing so I concentrated on my goal.I was on the verge of giving up when a lady walked up to me.

“ Hello beautiful what are you doing in a bar alone ?” She said with her strong Spanish accent sitting down right beside me. I adjusted then said hi she looked at me and laughed a bit “ you look so nervous do you want to go outside maybe take in fresh air ?” I nodded frantically and she stood up gracefully and took my hand while I grabbed my purse we made is outside then I took a good look at her she’s really pretty but not as pretty as my Mea wait why I’m I even thinking about her.. she’s wearing a red bandage dress with pointy heels she look expensive and really pretty with blue eyes and brown bold curls. “ Do you feel better ? “ she asked and I nodded “my name is Alfie short for Alfreda, you look really pretty and really out of place so what are you doing here ?” I heard her say again now I know I had to reply .

“Uhmm I’m here to meet someone” I said

“Ooh so where’s the person where’s your phone call them” she said quickly

“ I have my phone but I don’t have anyone in mind I just want to meet somebody new” I said shyly

“How old are you ?”

“I’m seventeen” I replied

“And you want to meet someone? Does your parents know you’re here ? What is bothering you why are you really here ?” She asked all in one go .

“Which one do you want me to answer first ?”

“ what’s bothering you ? By the way let’s go sit in my car cause these heels are killing me” she said but I didn’t move she turned and asked me what’s wrong truthfully i was scared cause I don’t know her I just came here to kiss somebody and know if it feels as good as it feels in those dreams not walk into some strangers cars I know better than that my mom is a police officer.

“Ooh you’re scared ? Okay let’s go to my office then but wait here let me get some flats from my car “ she turned and walked briskly to the black sleek Mercedes then it clicked she owns here.

“Sis sis siiiss! “ I jolted at the shout

“Stop shouting my ears off Stefan”

“You nearly drove pass the school why are you zoning out on me I was even talking” he whined

“I’m sorry love there is a whole lot of things on my mind, what were you saying tho ? “ I replied as I pulled into his block and parking.

“I was saying I think I need some help drawing later today will u help me?” He said

“of course I will baby ,here’s your lunch I’ll come pick you up after your lessons “ I said as I gave him his lunch.

“I love you sis you’re the best” he said and blew me a kiss that I caught then he ran inside the building .I drove towards my block parking and locking the car I ran inside immediately the bell rang I have no time to see my love we don’t have the same classes. I hurried to my first period and settled down .

Immediately the bell rang I hurried out of the class before the teacher got to my locker changed books and hurried to her locker I saw Cathy on the hallway then we talked for a bit then she walked me to her locker and there all the stress slipped away merely by just looking at her back I stood there waiting for her to notice me then I turned to know if Cathy was still around I saw her leaning on the wall. I felt somebody bump into me then I perceived the familiar smell of roses and wet earth I looked down to see the red haired nervously looking up at me if I didn’t know better I’ll say she’s checking me out. “What do you want ?” She asked in a sharp tone .This girl always in no mood to play,I smiled at her and she scrunched up her nose in return I sighed.”you’re no fun seriously Mea” I said in between laughs

“ I don’t have time for fun Eloise and even if I do I can’t have fun with you so what do you want?” She quickly replied,so she can’t have fun with me really am i that bad? but the way my name rolled of her tongue smoothly f**k don’t go there Eloise there’s no panties to change to..

I smiled at her “I just wanted to say Good morning and have a nice day” I managed to push out then she frowned ooh oh

“Seriously Eloise I know you better than that,what are you pulling at now ? Or do you want to take me to the rooftop again and threaten to push me ? Do you think I can fall for this again ? If you have some curse to throw at me or some drink to spill bring it on so I can clean up and head to my next class” she said very sharply I was lost in my feelings I nearly cried.The time I threatened her at the rooftop I was frustrated I told her to say “I love you Eloise”or I would push her down I never meant it I didn’t even touch her. Every single time I did something I was frustrated I strolled into her class one morning just to say f**k you Eloise,she looked so unaffected angered I spilled mine and Cathy’s drinks on her. She had to feel something too but I realize I went too far now she hates me.

I just looked at her and thought I should leave her alone now,gosh my body shook at the thought of that. But I think it’s time I’ve caused more damage than good, I felt her push pass me that’s when I let the tears slip I felt Cathy’s arm around me and I broke down more.

“What are you all looking at ?” I heard Cathy screech.I tried to control the tears but I couldn’t I felt so weak...
