Chapter 30 Milan, Italy Marco THREE WEEKENDS LATER, after spending Saturday morning in meetings with Luciano and Alessandro, we headed for the train station. When we arrived in Milan, we went straight to the hotel. Luciano’s friend Ignazio (“Call me Izzy”) Manos was an interesting man—half Italian, half Greek, and all horn dog. Dani and I liked him immediately. La Scala was all that we had hoped it would be and then some. After the opera, we had a late dinner at a nice restaurant and then returned to the hotel, where we sat in the sitting room of our suite, sipped Port, and talked about the opera.
