Paolo was at the bar with the investors he had met that afternoon. He never accepted drinks after a business meeting. However, after arguing with his wife on this occasion, he needed a strong drink, and since they had suggested it, he gladly accepted.
The bar was near his hotel; he would spend the night there. He was drinking calmly while receiving messages from his wife, which only made him angrier. Each time he received a message, he poured himself another glass full of alcohol. His pent-up anger and mood got the better of him, and Paolo ended up unintentionally drunk. It had been many years since he drank like this.
