Chapter 1: The New Beginning

Hi, My name is Jay Walker. I'm a seventeen year old teen. I have friends named: Mary Grace, John Matthew, Amanda Jane & Allen Paloma. We heve been friends since our first year of high school.
My story begins...

"May! Wait up!." Jay Walker shouted as he catched up to Mary.
"Jay! Stop calling me that." Mary giggled a little bit.
"Sorry Mary. I used to call you like that since childhood." Jay replied.
"It's fine Jay.." Mary smiled.
In School..
"Guys! Over here!" Allen shouted as Jay and Mary approached them
"Goodmorning Mary." Jane said.
"Goodmorning Jane." Mary replied as she took her seat.
"Did you heard the news? They said that a new student is coming here to join the class." Allen asked.
"Yeah, Allen..We heard that a new student is coming." Matthew said.
"I can't wait.." Mary said excitedly.
"Me too.." Jane, also smiled.
"Looks like the class is starting. We have to get back to our seats." Jay said as he went back.
Few Minutes Later..
"Class, today we have a new student joining us today." The teacher announced.
As the student came in, she has a brown hair like Jay (except Jay's hair is dark brown.), with green eyes and her hair is styled into a ponytail with bangs. She wears glasses like Allen.
"Hello, My name is Faith Halifa. Nice to meet you all." She smiled.
"Faith?! It can't be?! Why she's here? I thought she's back in the orphanage!" Jay thought wildly.
"Faith, you can seat next to Jay Walker." The teacher answered.
"Jay Walker?! There's only one person with that name. Why he's
here?!" Faith also thought.
Few Minutes..
As the teacher tackled the lessons, Jane was trying her best to wake the sleeping Allen up.
"Allen! Wake up!" Jane scolded quietly as she shake Allen's body.
"What is it?" Allen yawned.
"Wake up! The class is still going?! Do you want to get punished and kicked out in this classroom?!" Jane scolded Allen.
"I'm sorry Jane." Allen apologized.
"It's okay, but make sure you don't let yourself fall asleep in class!" Jane replied seriously.
Allen immediately took his notebook and ballpen. Then he began to take down notes. He doesn't want to fail again in the test. He'll try his best to study.

With Matthew...
Matthew was getting bored. He was staring at the board blankly. Mary, suddenly shaked him to get his focus back on the lesson.
"Matt! You have to focus! Don't let your imaginations take over your mind! You'll get punished." Mary advised her quiet friend.
"Fine.." Matthew replied tiredly.
"Oh Matt..Why are you always like that? Thinking about him again?" Mary thought as she take some notes down.
After Class...
"Faith?! What are you doing here?!" Jay gasped in shock.
"Jay, it's been a while. After 6 years, you haven't changed." Faith smiled sweetly.
"I know right. It's been a while Faith. How's the orphanage going?
Is Miss Melanie okay?" Jay asked.
"She's fine Jay. She said she was missing you. She wants to see you again." Faith answered.
"I see..." Jay replied.
"You haven't changed Jay." Faith smiled again as Jay blushed.
"You too Faith.." Jay blushed.
The two began to blush red.
"Yeah, it's been years since we met." Faith recalled the memories she and Jay had since childhood.
Flashback:
"Kid! Give me your money!" The bully shouted angrily.
"Leave me alone! I have nothing to give you!" Little Faith sobbed.
"Then, I will teach you a lesson! You will pay for not giving me money!" The bully yelled again.
Faith was cornered..
"Stop!! Pls!" Faith cried loudly.
"You will now learn a lesson, you fool!" The bully smirked.
"Somebody, help me." Faith closed her eyes and let her pain end her. Suddenly..
"Leave her alone you hear!" Little Jay shouted bravely.
"You fool! Don't intefere! This is none of your bussiness!" The bully shouted angrily.
The two boys began to fight.
"No!" Faith shouted.
"Trust me, I'll defeat this bully. I don't want to see you suffering just because of this. Leave this situation to me." Jay said.
Jay was right, Faith did really suffered because of this. She really need a helping hand now.
As soon the fight was over..
"You! You will pay for intefering you two will pay for destroying my plans!" The bully retreated.
"Are you okay?" Jay lend the scared girl a helping hand.
"I'm fine.." Faith answered.
"Did he hurt you?" Jay asked.
"Not much. Thank you for saving me." Faith smiled.
"No problem." Jay, also smiled.
"My name is Faith Halifa. What's you name?" She asked.
"My name is Jay Walker. Nice to meet you Faith." He replied.
Umm..can we be friends?" Faith asked the brunette.
"Of course. It doesn't matter how many friends you have, when you have true friends who can trust you." Jay said.
"Thank you, Jay..." Faith smiled.
The two brunettes walked away.
Flashback End..
"That's the time we met. You defeated the bully and saved me." Faith recalled the memories.
"Yeah, and that's the time we lived together in the orphanage." Jay, also recalled the memories.
"I miss that old times we have when we're still kids." Faith said.
"That's one of the memories I would never forget." Jay replied.
The two began to stare at each other. Their eyes are shining.
"Well, I have to go Jay. I need to finish my homework." Faith said.
"See you tommorow Faith." Jay said his last words to Faith.
"See you tommorow too Jay." Faith answered as she walked away.
As the 2 walked away..
"Why do I have this feeling?" Jay thought as he stared at the sunset.

"Jay, where have you been?" Allen asked the walking brunette.
"I'm sorry Allen, Matt. I had talked to Faith." Jay answered.
"You mean the new student?" Allen gasped. Matthew's ears perked up when he heard that.
"You know Faith?" Matthew asked.
"Yeah, in fact she's my childhood friend. I met her before Mary did." Jay answered.
"Really?!" Allen shouted.
Jay nodded.
"Jay, do you like her?" Matthew asked. Jay began to blush.
"No, of course." Jay blushed.
"But do you really care about her do you?" Allen asked cheekily.
"But, I do.." Jay answered.
"Aha, you admitted it!" Allen said.
Allen began to laugh, Matthew also laughed a little while Jay blushed even harder.

My story begins here..I'm destined to meet Faith again. She used to be my childhood friend before I met Mary. Well, my last year of high school begins and my adventure is close to it's end..
