Everything became quite when he stepped past the revolving doors. Adam loved the power he had over the masses. They seemed to squirm with his every gesture and expression. Only one person ,whom he had least expected told him off. He smirked with that thought. She was sure a hot little spitfire. He had said she would came to him. He had expected her to crawl to him because he had made her job miserable. She had however surprised him with her perseverance. He strode purposefully to his private elevator. The staff seemed to be mummified objects whenever he was around so he had made an extra effort to make their life less miserable by getting his own elevator. He was actually a very good boss, better than most, this meant that he appreciated hardwork and talent. However if they decided to became compliant he had no qualms with making their lives hell.He was running a company not a farmers market. Walking to his office he could see Sturt's desk. Alot of his assosiates had female secretaries. He had a male one. It provided a means from the destructions. A lot of those girl were mouth watering ,the problem was they always wanted more. He had always been honest. It was a good way to avoid all the heartbreaks. The funny thing is that they all avoided his warnings and had the gall to act as if he was the bad guy. “Good morning Sturt, did anything come up this morning?" “Good morning sir ,you have new messages from Li Shiting about the project. They have decided to collaborate. We expect their representative next week." “I knew they would cave ," he replied smugly. If there was ever something Adam Robinson was sure of , it was his abilities. A certain porcupine had however made him doubt if his charms were extinguished. However with how the female staff seemed to swooning at him. “Well could you deliver the Sloan file on my desk and inform April I need a personal assistant asap. Get her to get the assistant manager of sales." “On it sir," replied Sturt as Adam moved to enter his office. He made way into his office. It was located on the thirteenth floor. One of the pecks of being a CEO. The views of the city especially in the evening when the city lights competed with the stars was priceless. His job was quite exhausting. He worked late nights and early mornings. He removed documents from his suitcase going through it as he waited for Stuart. One of the cons of his job was the constant reading of boring documents and emails. Some of them often bored him to tears. It didn't take long before Stuart knocked on his door. He acknowledged it while his secretary came in with his coffee , black with no sugar and the Sloan file. It was Samantha's project . The one she had started a crusade for in his home. He smirked at the momery. “Anything else ,sir?"Stuart asked with his hands behind his back. “That will be all. Nothing you Stuart."He replied taking a sip of his hot coffee. He liked it hot. It's burning pleased him. He thumbed through the file scanning it to get the overall idea. It proposed the renovation of the warehouses and the making of offices for the warehouse's managers. It would have a substantial increase in the amount of production hence increase sales. It stated that she would lead in sales procurement. It was an excellent proposal that needed a little straightening. She was quite excellent and talented. He knew she was a hot woman. She made his blood boil. More than that, she seemed perfect. He could not help but think of how right he had been her. He had given her a timeline that she exceeded. He chuckled when he remembered she thought that he was a gentleman. He had his manners. However he hardly knew how to treat a woman right. To be fair he had always made his intentions clear. He however knew how to work on a woman. Most of them fell right into his arms . The only problem is that they wanted more. His phone rang cutting short his musings. He cussed under his breath. This was no time to be thinking about a woman. “The Li representative are here," Stuart voice came through “should I show them to the board room, sir?" “Yes , I would like that,"he replied “ inform my CFO he is needed along with the general manager." “Okay sir, I am working on sir" He turned in his seat looking at the city from his windows thinking of extra motions to put in place. If there was something he learnt as a business man was to never underestimate anyone. He made his way into the board room when he saw the elevator opening and his staff heading to the board room. He sat and listened to the people playing cat and mouse with each other . He waited for his chance to strike once and for all. He was a deadly hunter. He waited for any weaklines of the representatives before he tore it up and got the most benefits. “I want this the thirty percent of the shares plus the inclusion of members of staff." he slapped his hand on the document before sliding it to his CFO. The silence was pindrop. Every body turned and stared at him. “I don't care about all the big business terms you learnt to intimidate each other," bottom line is that we have the resources and the means to deliver what you wish to achieve, no one else can do it quite like us." “No way. That is too much we are offering the raw materials and labor all we need is a share of the capital." “We would also offer the raw materials at an increased ten percent of the shares, our company never compromises we do everything in a way no one can." “Sir I would remind you that your experience in running a company is quite wanting. We will lose a quite substantial amount of profits if we put all on you." “I may have taken this company recently but I have enough experience to boot. What am saying is that we are offering to give you our labor, raw materials and capital in exchange of seven years of profits and forty percent of the shares. I don't think you can get a better deal than this ." “All right I think we are the ones who ought to draft the contract. We will came three days letter to confirm and finish the sighing ." The chairs scrapped the hardwood floor as everyone got up to great each other . Adam made his way to his office happy. That went better than he had hoped. “Adam , April informed me that the assistant manager of sales has agreed to take up the job"Stuart said as Adam collapsed on his chair. It was in the evening. The night had taken over. The meeting seemed to go on forever until he put his feet down and negotiated with what the other party wanted. Now he had his porcupine near and the contract. It was a good day.
