CHAPTER EIGHT

Alex woke up, feeling like the whole world knocked him hard on the head. Flynn entered his room with lime water in his hand. "Here!, I heard it can help, Alex collected the cup and gulped down the content before making faces because of the sour taste, "your uncle is back for your grandma's birthday" Flynn informed him while clearing up the scattered files from his table as he opened the wardrobe and brought out a fresh set of black suit for hiss boss. "Did the girl get home safely" Alex lazily asked, he could barely stand straight "yes, she did, I don't know how though is hard to get a taxi in that area", "well since she got home safely, that's okay",Alex walked into the shower, "you have a meeting with the minister of education by 10:30 am and oh today is Valentines day" Flynn reminded him, Alex came out of the shower drying his hair with a towel, "prepare a gift for them" he had a mischievous smile while buttoning his shirt "and have Hanna personally deliver it them" Flynn's eyes went wide, his boss is hellbent on making that girl's life miserable, "Flynn, I can't find my gold watch" he said looking into his cupboard "I will find it, Jason is waiting, I will head out first".

HANNA'S RESIDENT

Hanna finished getting dress, "I still don't get it, why do you have to work there"?. Alisha her best friend asked. Hanna has never told them the truth about her past, she's scared of loosing her friends. "It is because is the best firm in the country" she said to her friend while spraying her perfume, "but you are an architect, that's what you should be doing instead of working as a secretary plus Lance group is the second best" Hanna pinched Alisha's cheeks. "Do not worry and am working as a personal assistant", "same thing"! Alisha kept murmuring to herself, "BREAKFAST IS READY" they heard Carlos voice and Alisha's face brightened "ohhh!, I can't wait to eat his delicious cooking, Alisha ran out of the room, Hanna couldn't help but laugh, she followed her and sat at the dinning, "how long do you plan to stay here"? Carlos asked, "are you trying to kick me out" Alisha looked mad but still chewed on the delicious pancakes. "If it was up to me, you wouldn't be in this house" he dragged the plate of pancakes from her front to his sister's side, she liked it when they bicker it makes her forget her pains and worries, "do not worry as soon as my parent stop looking for a suitor for me, I will go back home" she stretched her hand and took a pancake waving it at the angry Carlos, " your parents are wasting their time, no sensible man will want to marry you" Hanna started laughing, "what did you say to me" the argument continues.

In a small apartment a beautiful Chinese lady with blonde hair looked at the gold watch she was holding, "wait for me Alex Chen, you won't be able to escape my grasped this time" she walked to the of her small shabby apartment, "Master I promise not to fail this time", she laughed evily as she stared at the watch.
