One By One

Sofia checked other rooms that were left on her side but she didn’t find Wanda. She was going to wait for Samuel by the stairs. Sofia thought that he would already be there but he wasn’t.

“Where is that guy…”

Since Samuel didn’t come back, Sofia was going to check on him. In the third room that she checked there was Samuel laying by the wall. Sofia tried to wake him up but she was hearing weird noises. She couldn’t stay still and fell on the ground unconscious. 

One floor above them was Wanda. She is able to create a sound that she wants or silent any sound. By creating sounds of high frequency she was able to first lose their balance and then make them unconscious.

“One more left. It seems like Noel lost to her.”

As she said that, Martin jumped to her room from the window at the same time he used his ability to push her away from the button. He quickly ran for the button. Before Wanda could react Martin already pressed the button.

“Team Martin won!” 

Each drone informed participants that Martin's team won their match. It was the turn for Osir’s and Alex’s teams to fight. They were going to be tested at the same place as Martin's team.

Team Osir is made of Osir (Scout), Lucas (Fighter), Aria (Fighter), Emilie (Support)

Team Alex is made of Alex (Scout), Barney (Support), Matthew (Fighter), Suu (Support)

Osir’s team are defenders and Alex’s team are attackers. Osir gathered everyone before the start of the test. 

“I have a good strategy but It will be hard because of Alex. Remember that he can see through walls.”

The round has started. Alex’s team approached a hospital. As they got close Alex used his ability to see where the button might be. He saw that Lucas was waiting for them at the entrance. On the second floor facing them was Osir and on the third floor in separate rooms, the same did Aria and Emilie. 

“Fu**! They know that I can’t see through people and one of them is blocking the button. One at the entrance, one on the second fool, and two on third.” Said Alex.

“So what are we going to do with them?” Asked Barney.

“We’ll go eliminate them one by one.” 

Lucas waited for them with a bat and taser in his hands. As soon as he saw one of them entering the building he rushed toward them. First, he shot from the taser a few times but Matthew slowed them down by using his ability, named gravity.

Lucas wanted to first knock out Matthew because he is the only fighter on Alex’s team. As soon as he was going to sing his bat, Suu spitted on the saplings in her hand and then threw them in front of Matthew. In the air, saplings grew into big sunflowers. Regardless, Lucas didn’t stop his swing but to his surprise, those sunflowers were harder than he expected. Almost like hitting a rock. 

They all backed down just to be safe. Alex was the only one to step out of the hospital and it was his biggest mistake. As soon as he did that he got shot from above by Osir who was sticking to the wall. Barney saw that and he fastly dragged Alex into the building. 

“There is someone behind us!” Shouted Barney. 

“Get tasers ready! I will go after that guy!” Said Matthew.

The rest of the team wanted to stop him but he left them too fast. Matthew Easley jumped on the second floor where he saw Osir. He immediately started running toward him but around the corner, there was a surprise for him. There was ice on which he slipped. As soon as he wanted to use his ability to slow the fall he saw Osir in the doors aiming at him with a taser. He didn’t have the time to react and he got shot. 

Meanwhile, on the first floor, Lucas didn’t want to stop attacking and was defeated by supports. He was laying on the ground with vines and blood on him. Osir ran to the third floor for Emilie. 

“I was wrong again! Lucas is weaker than I thought… Anyway, we need to stop two of them that are left there. Supports only so nothing to worry.” Said Osir.

Both teams met at the staircase. It was two vs two this time. Suu was going to spit on the saplings but Osir put his hand in front of him to stop them.

“Wait just a second! Think about it. There are three vs two of you, you are only supports and… WE HAVE THE HIGH GROUND!!!”

“I feel like you just wanted to say that you have the high ground…” Said Emilie

“Maybe…” 

Suu threw the saplings but they grew slower than earlier so Osir and Emilie easily dodged them. 

“Hey, Suu! You know I’m your counter?” 

By lowering the temperature Osir is able to slow down the growth of plants that Suu wanted to use. After dodging Osir immediately jumped down to shoot one of them and then hit the other one with a bat but as soon as he jumped Barney cut his finger and swung it. 

“If I don’t vaporize some of this blood it will hurt much worse.” Thought Osir.

Some of the blood vaporized but he got and his right arm was burned a little bit. He hit Barney with a bat and then he tried to aim at Suu but because of that burn he flinched and missed. Suu raised her taser and was ready to shoot but Emilie was faster. 

“We… won!” Yelled Osir

Emilie also wanted to shout that they won but drones didn’t inform them that they won. Someone from Alex’s team wasn’t down yet.
