Introduction

The main characters in the story are Reyven Perez and Adelard Leviste.

Reyven Perez- A very tough and independent girl who loves adventure in life despite her dark and painful stories from the past. She is a strong woman who is always ready to face the challenges in life. She had some issues from the past that she really wanted to seek justice for until now. She will meet a lot of people who will be a big part of her life. It is so hard to trust people nowadays and Reyven is not the type who will be tame easily. But what if one day, while doing her duty as a paid Personal Bodyguard, she will discover a lot of things about herself. She notices some things that she should not feel. In love? No way! Attached to someone? No way! Especially if it's because of that annoying CEO of the Leviste Empire. She won’t let her feelings dominate her and stop her plans. She will stick to her plans and she will do everything.

Adelard Leviste- The super stubborn CEO of the Leviste empire who is giving Reyven a hard time. He is really a pain in the ass because he doesn't like to be dominated by anyone, but also too weak to say no to his Personal Bodyguard. He is like a pet when Reyven is around. But what if he gets used to it? What if he started to like the feeling of being dominated by this girl? He started to crave it. He loves it. He loved the presence of the girl so much.

PROLOGUE

She is like the biggest stone on the shore trying to be so strong in front of the scary big waves. She is not scared, she will never be.

It is hard to pretend. It is so hard to always act strong and independent even if you are feeling tired already.

But she is obliged to be tough, wise and very strong. It's her job to protect people. She was trained to be like this. She was paid to be like that.

Reyven let a heavy sigh when she finally saw her opponent lying on the wide mat on the floor.

After the heavy fights, she immediately offered her hand to James.

"Not bad for a beginner, James. You still need to learn but you really have potential." Reyven smiled and patted the trainee's shoulder.

An instructor hired her as a trainer for this week in taekwondo and she is considering this as a work out for her preparation next week. She is about to face a big project and she really needs exercise.

Reyven Perez is a trained army private. Armies like them need to be trained for four years in the field. Of course, this is a very dangerous kind of job. After that, she worked as a private mercenary and it was not hard for her to be accepted since she'd been trained so well.

For next week, Modern Security or TMS is giving her another project and she is very thankful about it since she does not want to stay at her house having just finished her last projects perfectly.

After training some students who are trying to learn taekwondo, she immediately gathers all of her things, she also needs to prepare for a private dinner.

For sure, the Mercenary is already bragging about her skills again for these businessmen that is why a lot of companies are sending her an email. Luckily, the mercenaries do not send private details of the army whenever they offer protection to the big people in the country, especially some politicians out there. Of course, that's part of the rule inside the TMS.

Her last project was last year. She protected a Senator after it received a lot of death threats. Well, he is abroad now and never coming back to the country and Reyven has already finished the contract, so nothing's to worry about anymore.

Reyven wore a tank top partnered with her usual fitted jeans together with her black boots. She's more comfortable with it. She doesn't need to wear sexy dresses for this dinner since it is just going to be fast. Besides, the place is private, so she doesn't really need to party and find some hot guys out there. She also wore a black denim jacket on the top to finalize her look.

Reyven simply tied her hair in a high pony tail just like her usual style. It's comfortable, especially in field work.

She is currently using her convertible, but of course she is not using this vehicle at work. Just this time to make some impressions.

When she finally arrived at the venue, she entered the restaurant freely. She is already used to these kinds of meetings. Her bosses before were always like this. Setting up a meeting or a dinner in a fancy restaurant and talking about things she is not even familiar with. Well, if it's about field work, guns, and physical fights and training, she will be in. But of course, she also needs to learn about the nature of her boss to check his or her security.

"A schedule with Mr. Leviste, I'm Reyven Perez." Reyven uttered to the crew and the woman who was facing her immediately guided her inside a room.

Just like what she was expecting. A group of men is waiting for her inside. For sure, General Arthur had already left her here to these men. General Arthur was the one who gave her the project. He said he personally recommended Reyven for this since she is one of the greatest agents of the Mercenaries.

"Agent Reyven Perez, right?" An old man asked as he offered a handshake to Reyven.

It is not a big deal for Rayven to be surrounded by men or even to enter a very crowded place. For this case, if she scans the venue, there is no doubt that she can bring these men down whenever she wants to, but of course, all of them are powerful and have connections in life. Body guards are standing in every corner of the room and, for sure, they all have guns and, sadly, she is not bringing one. But anyway, that's not the thing or the reason why she is here. This is a new project and there is no reason for her to have a fight with these people. She is here to settle some upcoming works.

"This is so insane."

Reyven's eyes drifted to the guy who was standing behind the old man.

"Stop it Adelard, I am doing this for your safety." The old man uttered while glancing at the guy behind him.

"Have a seat, Miss Perez. By the way, I am Mr. Ferdinand Leviste. For sure you are already familiar with our surnames in Retail Industry." The old man uttered.

"Yeah, Mr. Ferdinand. You owned a lot of branches of malls in the country." Reyven smirked as she glanced towards the guy who was called Adelard by Mr. Ferdinand.

"Great, have a seat." - Mr. Ferdinand again.

"So we should not waste a lot of time here, we need to rush and discuss our business here right away." He added.

Reyven is just listening and happy that Mr. Fedinand is a no-sugarcoating guy, so this will be going to be short. She doesn't want to stay here longer since she will be out again for training tomorrow and it's her last day to train them. It's Saturday the next day and on Monday is her start for this project.

"Well, I already received your email, Mr. Ferdinand. I also replied to that email since I don't like long discussions about projects. I only deal with people who only stick to a specific plan. I only attended this dinner since I thought you had all already made up your mind," Reyven explained confidently. At one look, you can really tell how professional and well trained she is.

"Yes, of course, Miss. Perez. There is no doubt here to trust you. General Arthur personally recommended you, so there's no reason to worry." He answered while smiling.

"This is really insane. Are you really serious 'bout this, Dad? Come on!"

Reyven's eyes drifted again towards Adelard, who had been very silent the whole time. Reyven is an agent and a spy whenever she needs to at the same time, so it was so easy for her to figure out that this guy beside Mr. Ferdinand is going to be her subject, but it seems like he doesn't agree with this stuff.

"Miss Perez, this is my son. He will be the one that you will go to watch and protect." Mr. Ferdinand acted like he didn't hear his son. Adelard laughed sarcastically beside his father.

"Adelard Leviste. He is the current CEO of Leviste Corporation. For sure, you are asking why he needs to be protected, that we need to ask for a personal and well-trained person, right? I need to go abroad with my wife. Adelard is my only son. He has a sister and both of them are receiving death threats too. It is because of money, business and people who have hidden anger towards me, and I am very worried about it."

Reyven is just listening and, of course, this kind of case isn't new to her. She heaved a sigh.

"I want a sure project, Mr. Ferdinand. Your son seems like he doesn't agree with this." She said while slowly lifting her gaze towards Adelard who was very annoyed beside Mr. Ferdinand.

"Don't worry about him, we already talked about this and he is just acting stubborn. But anyway, I had already made up my mind. I don't want to go abroad and think about my children's safety."

Reyven nodded and she understood the point. Adelard and his sister are lucky to be protected like this, so he doesn't need to complain about this, unless he doesn't care about his parents worrying about them. If his parents matter to him then he should think the idea that they will worry to them so it is better to agree about it than to make your parents worry. Did you get the point, brat?

"Then if that's the case, I already wanted to sign a contract. I know you don't want to waste your time and so do I." Reyven gave them a very sweet smile. Well, they are lucky to see those since she is just using them whenever she needs to act like that on a mission.

"Very great! Sign this and you will going to start on Monday. Our flight is on Sunday."

"Monday, then. I'm a professional agent, so I warned your son that we would be together, 24/7. We will be together on one roof for three months. Warned him." Reyven smirked as she signed the contract.

She had already reviewed papers. She faced them again and offered a shake hand.
