As I enter this warm school breath of forest air welcomes me, I look around to find out that there is a program welcoming new and old students here at Winston University. I went there and listen to the speaker saying about the founder of Winston I already know the reason why they build this school I do not know right now.
“Like you, all know and will know Winston University is made to enhance the knowledge of young people or everyone who want to be talented and to share your skills…….Winston University consists of three categories……….”
The speaker said in an authoritative voice as I listen to him someone tapped my shoulder
“Hey, your new right?”
“yes? why”
“well I’m sorry but could you change your look? you kinda like my granny”
I got offense the way this girl said she has beautiful blue eyes, a pointed nose, white skin, and a model's height all I can say is that she is pretty but I still look at her with my confused yet angry look
“what’s wrong with my dress?miss?”
“oh I’m Diana Ylros Salvador but you can call me Day
She reaches her hand for a handshake which I never accept
“well miss Day I love my outfit for today I hate fashion for all you know”
She smiles at me and she looks like she won a lottery where her eyes beam with excitement and delight
“I like you girl by the way what’s your name?”
“I'm C” Her face grinned
“tell me the truth your kidding right?……how on earth is your name only C?”
“well Day I am really C third letter of the alphabet and no other consonants and vowels are added only C got it”
I playfully answered her and explain what my name is she laugh and nodded her head and while walking she look at me and said
“you know I tested you earlier, many girls here are head over heels of my dresses, my frame, and everything I am searching for a real person who doesn’t need my frame and money to be my friend and you know you're the first that’s why I like you”
I went silent because we're the same I’m not the friendly type of girl I am shy, talkative if were close, and to be honest, I am into girly stuff but I am a Rui I can’t be the life I always wanted. While walking to our classroom she explains to me what are the things I should know here at WU
“okay C listen because you are my best friend now I wanted to protect you from bullies you know you’re a scholar right?…. So you will never be part of the big ten and that’s so alarming”
“ah excuse me what’s big ten by the way”
“big ten are students who are the most influential in the country and this school. The ten places are actually searching for it, for nine is we have Diana which is me hah-ha next is Dreg, Markian, Josh, Zandro, Ken, Agust, Tomm, and lastly Roww”
I am totally shocked by the names she mentions this is my mission the big ten and still listens to her explanations
“you can’t fight these people nor talked them if you are not part of it, you need power in this school C that’s why I approach you because I feel that we can be friends and I hope you will stay here even if you know something in this school promise me “
worried is all over her face I am so nervous about her request, I swear Day is such a sweet girl and a nice person you can have as a friend or even a lover she thinks for her loved ones and that’s the reason I’m nervous but what can I do I nod and she smiles.
“okay just stay away from girls like that”
She pointed to the girls standing far from us who wearing some luxurious dresses makeup and anything you can call brats I know from the first look these were trouble but I’m not afraid they should be afraid of me but I have a rule and it is to stay a nerdy, poor look and make the big ten my friends for me to kill and play with them while they are not aware but I just nod and we continue to walk on the other way
“By the way where is your room?”
“ah room 134 section Gold”
Day shouted “What!!! how come you can enter our room only rich people can, C? how?” she cross her arms as if she is interrogating me
“I don’t know ma’am” I chuckle
“well I’m just making fun of you but seriously you bless we are classmates”
We both laugh at our silliness and heard the bell rang
“omo let’s go C before the professor calls us late”
“hahaha we better be”
I feel happy on my first day because I meet Day as my best friend and I haven’t encountered brats and bad boys on my first day. Day made me feel welcome when we reach our room she even made sure that I am sitting beside her and waited for the others to come
Our professor enter our classroom with lots of papers in his hands
“Okay class welcome to your senior year I am Professor Mark Harold and I will be your teacher in biology and mathematics”
As my day goes on the bell rings indicating that it’s launch time everyone is running to the cafeteria, while I and Day slowly walk, chatting, and laughing until we reach our destination and find out it is so full, Day grabbed my hand and we went to the rooftop where we met a tall, with tattoo and a handsome but with cold stare boy standing in the rooftop near in the railings. Our eyes meet for a second before Day calls the boy
“Hey brother what are you doing here?” The boy just look at us and walk toward us and said
“Day I told you no more friends”
“But brother I can handle this and she’s different you know”
The boy just walk away and slam the door hard, and Day just look at me and said
“I’m sorry C for the attitude my brother showed”
“Nah, it’s okay I am used to it by the way the boy earlier is he really your brother?”
‘Well his my twin, we have a younger sister named Kendea, we also have a big brother but unfortunately, he died also our parent so Roww stand us our guardian”
“wait hold on that is Roww?”
“well yeah we are a Salvador”
Oh my God the revelations though the world is really small I meet right away the Salvador’s our enemy in everything thank God I change my name and identity
“Woah so pleased to meet you young lady” with a matching bow effect
“hahahha nice one C, nice one”
