A smile appeared on the maid's face that Ha Na met a while ago as she brushed the future queen's silky hair.
"You look really beautiful, My lady." The maid grinned and continue to brush the lady's hair.
A pout appeared on Ha Na's lips as she watched the maid's reflection on the wide mirror in front of her. She frowned. "Why do you keep calling me 'my lady'?"
The maid's smile widened and chuckled. "It's because I'm already your maid. I will be here for you. Besides, you will be the Queen in the future."
The maid answered and stopped, looking at Ha Na with a squeal leaving her lips. "It's been a wish of mine to serve someone from high. And now it's going to come true since I'll be serving a Queen soon!"
Ha Na doesn't know what to honestly react. She can't deny the fact that she's going to be a Queen. But what she despises is that, how could she be a Queen when Taehyung just meet her?
Nonetheless, it hasn't even been a month since they met and now he's going to make Ha Na his Queen. She doesn't know what obstacles are waiting for her and she's frightened of what might happen.
Ha Na stared at the mirror, blankly. Then she glanced at the maid who was busy brushing her hair again. "What's your name, by the way?"
"Me? I'm Junsoo." The maid responded with a smile and put the brush down. She turned around, facing Ha Na. "You look really beautiful. No wonder why Taehyung likes you."
Ha Na stared at Junsoo and raised an eyebrow. She was about to open her mouth to ask Junsoo but was interrupted.
"Our lady," Someone called from the outside. Ha Na snapped her head towards the door, seeing a bunch of maids making its way inside.
"It's time for preparation." The elder among the maids said and raised her head yet eyes went wide, looking behind their future queen. She raised an eyebrows in confusion but her expression softened again, and Ha Na noticed it.
"Alright," Ha Na sighed and looked at Junsoo. "You can go now Junsoo. I will be out in a minute."
"Can I at least see you, My lady?" Junsoo's eyes pleaded making Ha Na giggle at her childish behavior.
"Alright." Ha Na smiled at her. She turned around and followed the maids with Junsoo following from behind.
After a few hours of preparation, she was now wearing a gold gorgeous, glittery and beautiful flowing gown partnered with peach heels with flowers and diamonds on it.
"No freaking way—" Junsoo gasped and Ha Na twirled around to expose more of the gold glittery gown. Although it doesn't fit Ha Na's taste well but she could say it looks good on her. It fitted with her body well. "You looked beautiful!"
"It's time for your make up, My Lady." The elderly said and Junsoo nodded eagerly and squealed while Ha Na was watching the girl making her even smile.
As soon as they're done with everything, the head maid told Ha Na to wait in a room. It wasn't her room but it sure hell made her gasped as soon as she entered. Yes, Ha Na's room was beautiful but the room they were in right now was way too beautiful. It perfectly matched the glitter outfit of her.
Perfectly.
"What room is this?" Ha Na asked, looking at the other who was beyond happy, grinning and looked around, twirling.
"This is the Queen's room! Isn't it majestic and beautiful? This is literally everyone's dream! Even I did not enter here yet!" Junsoo squealed making Ha Na gasped even more.
Ha Na's eyes widened at some realization. She thought she shouldn't be here. "What? Why am I here then? Junsoo! We should get out of here!"
"Of course you should be here since you're going to be a Queen soon!" Junsoo smiled widely, wiggling her eyebrows at her before asking. "Do you want to see the other rooms?"
Ha Na just sighed at Junsoo who completely ignored her. The maid, Junsoo, grabbed her wrist pulling her out of the room. They walked through the hallway with Ha Na's gown sliding and heels hitting the tiles of the hallway. They finally stopped in front of the door and Junsoo opened it, revealing a beautiful room again.
Once again, Ha Na's jaw dropped at the magnificent, elegant, beautiful room. Junsoo smiled sheepishly. "This is the crown prince's, future king’s, room! This is where your child will stay!"
Ha Na choked and coughed when Junsoo suddenly said that. What do you mean child? Who's going to have child? Me? Hell no I'm not going to have a half breed child.
She mentally snapped. She is surely not going to have a child with a person opposite her race.
"Are you okay?" Junsoo asked in worry and Ha Na nodded, trying to control the cough. But Junsoo just looked at her with worriedness in her eyes.
"I'm fine, really." Ha Na breathed in and Junsoo grabbed her hands again, going to another room.
This time, it was different. It was green and gold unlike the other rooms. It was simple but beautiful unlike the other rooms that are extravagant.
"This is the princess' room. Your child's room if you ever have a princess." Junsoo deadpanned.
"Why does it looked so different from the other rooms? I mean it looked simple?"
She frowned and leaned in to whisper. "It's because a royal princess is not accepted in the royal vampire family."
"Royal Vampire Family? Why is a princess not considered a royal family? Heck?" Ha Na questioned and Junsoo nodded.
"The Dukes and the King's male bloodline are considered to be the royal family. And a princess is considered an outcast. I mean not really," Junsoo shrugged, brought her lower lips outside. "You could still be a princess only by a title."
Junsoo added with a smirk and Ha Na was hopefully being delusional about the other girl smirking evilly, "That's why you should not give birth to a princess. Taehyung might abandon you if you do."
Junsoo then gave a smile and Ha Na parted her lips to say something but just slowly laughed it off, nervously.
"I've read a lot about Vampire facts but I didn't know about that." Ha Na chuckled nervously and looked at Junsoo who gasped. Her eyes were widened and Ha Na turned around to see what she was looking.
There reveals the 4 Dukes and Taehyung coming out of a room.
Ha Na was about to go to them. "Oh. It's them—" But Junsoo suddenly grabbed Ha Na's wrist and ran off.
"Why are we running?" Ha Na asked in confusion and followed her.
Junsoo didn't answer her and dragged the lady back inside the Queen's room making Ha Na stumbled on her feet, falling on the floor.
"Sh—t!" Junsoo started to panic and her eyes bulged. Ha Na moaned in pain and helped herself up with the support of Junsoo.
"f**k. Your gown." Ha Na looked down to see that her gown ripped and looked at Junsoo for help but her eyes widened, in panic as Ha Na. "The ball is going to be in two hours and yet I ruined it! What are we going to do?!"
Both of them started to panic until a familiar voice came.
"Do you want me to help you with that, Ha Na?"
