The Next Day
“Every time I’m out on the beach...” Alexis shielded her eyes from the sun, “...I’m reminded of why I came back home.”
Faye Ramsey strolled alongside Alexis in a blue bikini and beach towel wrapped around her tiny waist. “Yes, the beach here is beautiful.”
With her tanned skin, perfect body, and amazing muscle tone, Faye looked as if she’d been born to stroll on beaches.
Gulls screeched in the distance.
Faye pushed up her shades. “It’s one of the main reasons I stick around this useless town.” Her narrow feet disappeared in the sand as she walked. “You’re a California girl and you don’t have any shades, Detective?”
