Fleur I felt foolish. Awkward and out of place which was strange seeing how many times I had run with this pack. I might not be a wolf, but I was one of them. Still, it felt strange watching Noah take his place by his father, stripping his clothes off as he went. He kept glancing behind him like he was sur I was going to disappear. Maybe he thought i was figment of his imagination. I wasn’t and I wasn’t going anywhere. Ady was right. Noah was lost. he had been lost for so many years, long before he had disappeared. And he needed me to find him. I gave him the smallest of smiles, trying to reassure him without speaking that what I had just said was true. The hope in his eyes was heart breaking. “Fleur?” Ady’s small hand slid into mine and I turned my eyes downward to smile at her.
