HAUNTED

Chapter 7

As she walked through where the body of Lee Jeannette had been found she knew that all traces of evidences would already have been removed so kicking the stones beneath her feet boredly she found a faint footprint on the ground. Heading towards where the footprint was she felt her partner right behind her. Coming to a halt abruptly Brandon slammed into her as both of them rolled on the ground with her coming on top it was then she saw an earring lying on the ground beside them grabbing an evidence bag she picked it up. It was then she remembered that before she passed out she had seen Jeannette had a pair on. Sliding into the car she risked a glance at Brandon and realized his face looked flush.

★ Police Station ★

Gathering her thoughts she and her partner strode in going straight to the deputy chief office they handed over the bag of evidence. Afterwards they left to collect the result of the autopsy after which they left for their room. Getting into her room she connected to her daughter while ordering room service. Laying on the bed she fell asleep drifting into a nightmare.
