Chapter 14

288 Words
Knocking on the door of the apartment of my suspect the door opened revealing a middle aged man he didn't exactly look like the suspect to have kidnapped women with his potbelly stomach he didn't prove dangerous to anyone. Well she was here and she had to go on with the questioning she had intended. Moving into the living room that was littered with beer cans and takeout containers it didn't look an inch like the home of a kidnapper and besides the stench coming out of the living room made her want to puke. After looking into the other part of his home and going over the questionnaire with him the realization hit her hard that they had four more days before they were kicked out of the FBI. Since he wasn't their wanted criminal she called her partner about the false information. On her way to the local police station to see what information she could salvage she got a call from the head of the local police station that one of his victims had escaped. Putting a call to her partner she drove over. ★ Local Police Station ★ "Well Ashley could you please describe the look of your abductor" I asked for the umpteenth time but she continued sobbing so far I had tried asking her some questions for the past hour but had only been replied by sobs. Whispering I said to my partner I think we need to take her to the hospital she is in some sort of trauma I said. As preparations were made for moving Ashley to a hospital to treat her injuries and to meet a psychologist I went out to get some air as I was suffocating.
