CHAPTER TWO

Lana's POV "If I'm going too fast, just let me know, and I'll stop," he knelt down and his fingers went into my v****a again, goosebumps appeared on my skin. His touch was gentle and hot at the same time. I would say it was electrifying. He replaced his hand with his head, he kissed my thighs up to my private area. I pulled his black trousers and slid his boxers off, his p***s was erect. He climbed on top of me, caressing one of my breasts, and sucking on the other. Then he continued kissing my neck, and up to my lips while my hands were wrapped around his neck, kissing him back with the same passion. I slid my hand down to his p***s, massaging it. He thrust into me, I let out a muffled moan. I was in pain, but I felt good. Damn! My eyes rolled to the back of my head. "f**k! Faster. Faster," I cried out. "For someone who hasn't had s*x before, you're perfect at this." He chuckled. "I watched porn a couple of times when I was preparing to give my body to my stupid boyfriend." I gasped as he thrust faster. We had a couple of more rounds before we cuddled and slept. The last thing I remembered was the warmth of his arms around me, and his kisses on my body urging me to sleep. When I woke up, the room smelled like caramel. There was a bottle of water on the nightstand and a note. "I didn’t want to leave you alone, but I know we will meet again. You needed to get some rest after what happened last night. — Mystery Man." I blushed, and something within me hoped to see him again. Something I couldn’t explain. I groaned in annoyance when I remembered that I had work today. I pushed myself upright in bed, and dressed up. I tucked the note into my bag, took a deep breath, and dragged myself out of the hotel. The outside world hadn’t changed, but I had. I was no longer a virgin, I just gave my virginity to a random handsome stranger, the bedsheets were stained, but crazy how I didn't regret it. I hurried home to get dressed for work. I was running late and my manager detests lateness. The moment I stepped into Stacy Jewelries, where I work as a receptionist, heads turned to me. "Yeah, she's the one." Someone pointed their finger at me. I rolled my eyes at them, and walked to my desk to start my day. Then I saw it, pinned on the staff bulletin board. A screenshot of a tweet. “Lana seduced her way into winning the top staff. Manager Regnold was just another victim she drugged. She's got no shame.” The abbreviation "S" sat neatly on the handle. My ex–best friend, already posting lies with confidence like she was doing the world a favor. I really thought she cared about me just like I cared about her. I felt a light tap my shoulder, I turned to see Sandra. She was wearing a short black skirt and a beige colored top, with nude heels. If anyone should be accused of seducing her way to this organization, it should be her. Just take a look at how she's dressed. "Hi Lana, the manager requires your presence in his office right now. I don't know who shared those nasty false rumors about you, but he's livid. I just hope he'll let it slide," she batted her eyelashes. If she was trying to make me believe that she wasn't the one that posted that tweet on social media, she had failed without even trying. "Aren't you ashamed of yourself? You f*cked my boyfriend, and now you're sharing fake rumors about me? What do you really want?" My voice cracked. I stared directly into her eyes. I promised myself that I wouldn't show any weakness, even if I was completely broken within. She came closer and bent to my height, "I just want you gone, and I want to own everything you own. Is that so hard?" She whispered. Her lips tilted upwards. "Well, you can have it." I walked away from her. I took a deep breath before walking into the manager's office. "Good morning sir, you requested to see me." Manager Regnold is a chubby, cheerful man known for his wide smile, despite missing his front teeth. He is very outgoing and approachable, and his jolly nature makes the workplace feel a little lighter. “I'll get straight to the point, Miss Hubbard. You are the front face of this enterprise, and this kind of scandal can't be shoved under the table,” he folded his hands on the table, and leaned forward. “Yes sir, please don't fire me. I didn't do it, and I really need this job,” My voice cracked. “I'm sorry, but you’re relieved of your duties.” He stretched out the check for the month. It wasn't even up to half of my salary. "The management decided to use your salary to settle the media and put a stop to the false rumors, which is the least you can do for this company," he explained. I left his office in a blur, I quickly took my things from my desk and left. My throat burned, but I didn’t let myself cry. I was halfway home when my phone buzzed, signaling that a message just came in. House owner: Miss Lana, you’ve been owing rent for two months now, and I’ve been patient. You have three days to vacate my premises. I need to lease the space to someone who can pay. I stared at the message, blinking back in disbelief. I had put my hope on my salary that I was supposed to receive this month, and now the cash isn't even up to half of the money for my rent. Three days. I need to do something quick, otherwise I would be roaming the streets. I reached my one-room apartment, and sat at the edge of my bed. My boyfriend cheated on me with my best friend. I was jobless, broke, and about to be homeless. Tears fell from my eyes uncontrollably. What had I done to deserve this? The world felt like it was folding in on me, and I didn’t have the energy to fight back. So I curled up on my bed, picked up my phone and decided to scroll through LinkedIn for job opportunities. Everything had a basic payment range of four hundred to five hundred dollars per day. There was another post that grabbed my attention. 'Live-in tutor to a billionaire's daughter.' Payment is a thousand dollars per hour. I hurried up and applied for the job, and some other jobs too. Then I slept. A knock at the door jolted me awake. I sighed in annoyance, then I checked the time. 8:47 p.m. I wasn’t expecting anyone. Definitely not my b***h ex-best friend, Sandra, and God help me if it was Zane cause I would cut his balls off and trade them for a good amount of money. I padded to the door, tried to see the person from the peephole, but the place was dark outside, and then I cracked the door open. It was him. The man from the bar.
