Elara kept my company all day, although having her around was more of a distraction than a help. She did have some good ideas for running the pack a little smoother though, which I made a note to talk to Jayce about, but every time she would shift in her seat, I'd lose concentration and stare at her until I realized what I was doing and got back to work.
Jayce had been on my mind all day too. I was feeling guilty about being with Elara tonight without him, and I was a little worried her first time would be tainted by only being with one of her mates.
Later in the evening, once we walked back into our suite, I kissed Elara's hand.
