Waking up, I look beside me to see Rodrigues no longer there. My heart quickened; did he leave? I sit up, half naked as I look round to see his clothes no longer on the floor. He really left after I gave myself to him? I lift myself up from the bed and into the bathroom. After showering and doing my usual get together, I exit the bedroom and hear bundles of laughter from Charlie and Rose, I rose a brow as I rush down the hallway to see Rodrigues flipping pancakes whilst Charlie points as if she is stargazing. Rose was on her phone texting whilst eating, “no phone whilst eating.” I reminded her, she looks up at me and switches of her phone as I make my way towards the island where Charlie sat. I kiss Rose on the cheeks before doing the same to Charlie, she giggle pushing me away. Then
