Kelvin woke up rather late, he got up and went to take his bathe, then he wore casual clothes, a singlet and a short knicker. He got downstairs and saw Okiki talking to demmy, he didn't like that they were smiling and laughing, he frowned and went to their side, then he held Demmy's waist and smiled to her, Okiki bowed to greet him but he didn't respond

"good morning" Demmy greeted

"who gave you the permission to leave my bed?"

okiki widened his eyes and walked away,

"you were already asleep, and i needed to clean my room and continue with my clothes"

"hum mm, are you done with the clothes? i am taking the day off so i could help you out with setting up your business"

Demmy smiled

"i am almost done, by the time you finish eating i would be wearing it"

She ran upstairs to her room.

kelvin smiled happily and went to the dining to eat, he gave Okiki and James a deathly stare and grabbed the fork on the table

"i am taking the day off, so why are you two here? you should be at work"

He took a bite of the food served

"erm, yes your Father sir, he...he"

"be fast James i don't have the luxury of time"

"he told me to keep an eye on you and your new girlfriend sir"

Kelvin smiled and looked at James, somehow he has been expecting a spy from his father, so he was not surprised

"what else does he want?"

"he wants to know everything about the girl"

"my girlfriend, not the girl, point of correction"

"i am sorry sir"

"tell him everything, and tell him that, i am going to make her mine... i am in love Okiki, i feel it. what can i do?"

Kelvin looked confused

"it is obvious that you are sir, but i am surprised that you are saying out"

"well i need you help to make her love me back so i can marry her and be happy for ever, that's why i am telling you"

"isn't it too fast sir? you barely know her"

"i know, it happened the night i saw her angry face in a big wedding gown."

Kelvin laughed softly and ate another spoon. James and Okiki looked at each other, surprised and confused.

Kelvin hurriedly ate his food and smiled to his P.As

"i have to meet my love, Okiki, i will need your help, i will call you when i do, James, tell father how much i care for her"

he ran up to Demmy's room. Mama came out of the kitchen smiling like she won a trophy

"help me tell oga that i have never seen Kelvin this happy before, the last time i saw him this happy was when Katherine was born."

James Nodded and left to tell Kelvin's father the information he gathered. Okiki on the other hand sat down on the dining chair and began to play games on his phone. Mama packed the plates and went back to the kitchen.

Demmy wore the gown that she sow, it fitted her perfectly, it was short gown that touched her knee, the back of the gown was abit longer than the front, the gown is like a pinafore gown, she wore white long sleeve shirt under it, the waist was slim and sized her well, the flair was layered and designed with ankara roses at the end, it was a bit ball, and decorated with shinning stones. while testing the clothes to see how it looled on her in the mirror, Kelvin opened the door and was stunned by her beauty and grace, he swallowed hard and closed the door

"how does it look? i think it needs few more rose designs"

she said twirling to see how ball it is, when she was satisfied with the back side, she turned around to see Kelvin, he looked lost, she frowned and walked up to Kelvin

"are you okay? is it my dress? is it so bad?"

she asked worriedly

"no, its not, it's beautiful, you are so talented, erm style your hair and wear a shoe so i can snap you now. within few days, your business awaits"

Demmy smiled excitedly and wore a black ankle boot, then she combs her long hair down.

"did you not buy any jewellery?"

kelvin noticed, or make up

"no, i forgot, sorry, but i am okay like this"

she shrugged her shoulders and continued.

Kelvin smiled and held her hands he turned her around and gave her a peck, Demmy felt her cheeks burn

"you are, so smart, and beautiful, lets go to the pool to take a picture of you"

She smiled and held his hands, to the pool they went.

He took many dope pictures of her, capturing her elegance and grace even without makeup, unfortunately he could not show her face.

Then Demmy insisted on the both of them taking pictures together, they took series of selfies, she made Kelvin laugh so much. He never kmew he could laugh this much until he met her.

After a long photoshoot, thy both went inside, Kelvin helped her with her pictures, he edited it and posted it online, he told her to sow more clothes so they can repeat the same process and when she is done sowing he would take a day off to snap and send again.

Katherine, Kelvin's sister called to inform Kelvim that she will no longer come next week, she doesn't know when she would be chanced.

Demmy called Tolanj in the night, but she made sure to be discreet

"Demmy how are you?" Tolani asked

"i am very fine here, remember i told you i stay with someone who provided shelter for me? i work as his girlfriend"

Tolani was shocked, she gulped on the water she was drinking and coughed out severally

"did you say girlfriend? Demmy who is the man?"

"i can't tell you now, but i promise to tell you in due time, and his work is legit i promise. i work as a fashion model now"

"i still can't believe that you have a boyfriend"

"it is true baby, believe it or not, now tell me how are you? how are things? how is my job? how is Maami?"

she asked all at once

"slow down babe. i am doing fine, although i have to act sad all day because they all expect me to be, my bestie is missing according to everyone here" Both of them sighed

"and a replacement has been found for you, i mean, they had too, and the news about you is viral babe, the search is intense."

"wow" Demmy frowned

"also i have to live a very simple life now, no parties because i am being followed by your father and Dare, they think i am hiding you somewhere, honestly i wanted to kick their asses one day, no offence"

"none taken, you can hurt them, i believe Baami can't use his guns in you knowing your background" she scoffed

"and your mother has been miserable, i went to her once, and she was covered with bruises, your father must have hurt her again"

"that bastard"

Demmy cursed and tried to control her tears, that were threatening to fall

"you should call her, so she can be rest assured"

"i can't, because if i do, she might get into trouble, i need few months, once the matter has died down, i will call her, by the i would have made a living here, i would call her to come here with David."

"is that your plan? so you are never coming back?"

Demmy, sighed

"for now yes. lets change the topic, tell me about your latest hmm mm mm"

she groaned, Tolani was forced to laugh

"no, you tell me, is your boyfriend tall? handsome? caring? rich? i need details"

"i am technically his paid girlfriend more like an actor, so he can avoid pressure from family. But he is tall, very handsome, his skin tone compliments mine, you know i am not too dark, i am more like brown skinned, he is dark skinned, and hot and rich and caring too, but be friends alot sometimes"

"hmm mm mm, you are beginning to like him eh"

"no, he is my boss, and we barely know each other. its not even up to a week"

"so, it doesn't have to. now tell me more"

Demmy rolled her eyes and laughed slightly

"like what?"

"have you guys kissed yet?"

"what did i tell you before? you this dirty minded fellow, its just a pecks and hugs and few cuddles. No kisses no intimacy."

"ah, i knew you would be slow, everything has to be Christian way for you, have little fun"

"no ways thats not fun, its sin, if he likes me and wants me he must marry me for life my body is for my man. But i kinda enjoy the cuddles, its tempting Tola"

Tolani laughed in hearing her complicated situations

"just stop laughing this instant, crazy fellow"

Her laughter increased instead.

"its either you like him or not, because if you don't, then you won't like the cuddles"

"or is it lust? i do observe my quiet time daily and i ask God if he is the one, but he hasn't answered"

Tolani sighed im disappointment.

"yeah did i tell you about pastor? and the elders?"

"no what happened to them"

"your dad was removed from the position of deacon, for the arranged marriage thing, and for not informing the church. and also for domestic violence, apparently, David told pastor that daddy was beating mummy"

"what? now that is my brother, what did the old soldier do to him?"

"of course he was beaten to a pulp, i was the one that took him to the hospital, your dad is a maniac no offence there"

the both of them talked and talked till their airtime bundles finished. That was when they remembered to sleep.

Demmy and Kelvin's relationship grew stronger, and her business grew within a two months, she was a model, people knew her as miss anonymous.

kelvin came home early because of her, just to be with her, she did all things to make him happy.

That few month was one of the happiest month for them both.
