GLORIA'S POV
"Hannah…." I called out to my sister just as smoke began to fill my lungs "Hannah…. Hannah get up" I said in between coughs.
I was still bleeding but I could still move my limbs and so I tried to make a way for my sister to do the same. However, when I turned to her, Hannah was still in front of the steering wheel, unmoving
"HELP!" came a shout from a couple of distances from where our car crashed. The words echoed into the night getting no response at all
"Hannah come on" I yelled as loud as my lungs could allow as tears were already dropping down my eyes. It was no doubt the worst day of my life.
"Gloria" someone called me but the voice was distant and all I could pay attention to was the sight of both me and my sister bleeding to death, trapped in this car that could go up in flames at any moment.
"Are you alright?" the voice of a man came to me and I looked up to find that help had arrived "I am going to get you out of here"
"My sister…" I spoke as the smoke reached my lungs again and I coughed out profusely"My sister is also trapped in here, please get her…."
"Gloria" the voice called my name again and it was vaguely familiar but my sights were still firmly on the man that had come to rescue us on his brown hair and amber eyes.
A loud noise tore through the air and the car in which I was trapped was suddenly opened and I was yanked out, rescued from all that smoke.
"My sis…" I managed to say right before I almost lost consciousness. I was out of the car but I was still bleeding profusely and hence, I could still die.
"It's going to be okay" the voice of a woman came to me and I could vaguely hear the sound of ambulance sirens and see the flashing lights.
"Glorial" someone was yelling and shaking me. My eyes flew open and I found myself in a graveyard and the man in front of me with black hair and some grey spots and a wrinkled face was my father
"Dad" I said as I hugged him and continued to cry in his chest while he stroked my hair like he used to while I waa little "Hannah…. she is…."
"It's okay my darling" my father said, his voice heavy with his own tears but he continued to hold me in his arms. With Hannah's death, I was the only child he had now.
"Daniel" a male voice came from behind and both I and my father turned to look at the two men who were staring at us a few feet away, each holding out flowers in their hands
"Jim" my father said as he released me from our embrace and beckoned on the two men to come closer.
"Mr Arnold" the man standing by the side of Jim greeted too as my gaze fell his brown hair and amber eyes, the same that had pulled me out of the car and saved my life.
"Ivan" my father said, moving to pat my saviour on the back "I told you to quit the formalities" my father said, his mood getting a little better "You can call me Daniel"
But sir…" Ivan began but a look in my father's eyes made him correct himself immediately "Daniel, I don't think I have earned the right to…"
"Nonsense" my father cut in immediately "You are the reason I did not lose all my children in that crash" father spoke with gratitude in his voice"I don't know if I could ever repay you"
"Dad?" I said, holding his hand. He was very emotional these periods and especially now, standing at Hannah's grave.
"I only wish I could have saved Hannah too" Ivan spoke and there was silence for a moment, everyone thinking to what could have happened if situations were different.
Hannah was told to have died on impact, before Ivan even got the chance to pull me out. She got the worse of the accident as she was on the steering wheel.
"It's not your fault" Jim spoke, resting his hands on Ivan "You tried all you could and I'm sure that my fiancee knows that too as she watches from up there"
"Jim" I went to wrap my hands around him. He was perhaps the most affected in all of this as he was supposed to wed my elder sister within the month. They would have been married now if it was not for the accident.
"Enough of the tears" my dad said as he wiped the last of his with the back of his hands "Hannah will always be in our hearts" his voice sounding like the fighter I know him to be "Now let's go home"

"Are you sure you are ready for this?" Ivan asked as we pulled up at the Barnes residence "If you are not ready, I could turn this car around and we can…."
"It's been six months Ivan" I whispered to him "six months since that family humiliated me and kicked me out of their house" I said as the memories came flooding back
"six months since Derek divorced me without a valid reason, six months since that terrible accident that claimed my sister's life and put me in a coma for five long months"
"Calm down" Ivan said as he held my hand to steady me "Take deep breaths" I did as he instructed and I was beginning to feel better "Are you alright?"
"I am fine" I said as I put his hands down "You don't have to worry about me Ivan" I spoke with a determined voice "I have your support and that of my family, I am more than ready to seek justice for all they have done"
It was time for me to have my revenge.
