Chapter 17The Unforeseen Future
Few months later.
The Governor wakes up from his sleep, he is alone and gets up from his medic bed. He takes the help of a walking stick; he adjusts his mini-breather to fix the breathing mechanism. His nostrils are damaged, when he speaks a cracked, hoarse sound comes out. He goes into the bathroom and looks at himself in the mirror. He is angry, ruthless, hardens his jaws and frustrated with the disfigured look. He hits the mirror and blood spatters out of his fist. There is the sound of the door opens and two officials come inside.
The Governor, comes out of the bathroom and he looks at the two officials in their official Imperial Suits from the top level secretaries, without any masks, and one of them asks, “How are you, Governor?”
