As we were walking back to the chamber, I asked him, "Sultan as a child what training did you receive to become a Sultan?"
"I had Scholars to teach me Royal behaviour, Finance, Maths, the physical aspects to become a good Warrior, self defence, one of the ministers, Mir Saab used to take me for the walk of the state and teach me about dealing with public, a few languages and…" he thought more but ended up saying, "That's pretty much it."
As expected. Since childhood he wasn't prepared to handle political matters. "Didn't you have a teacher for governing and political management?"
"Once or twice Malika-e-Jahan appointed a few teachers But I couldn't go through with them. They were very rough. So I gave up."
"Why are you asking all this?" He asked suspiciously.
