"You have quite a remarkable resemblance to our Riley," Eash suddenly said, making Riley's heart skip a beat.
They had all been talking, and although Ezra was engaged in the discussion, Riley could feel Eash's gaze lingering on her. Leo had been holding her hand the entire time, so occasionally, Eash's eyes would drop to their intertwined hands, his expression tightening with pain before he sighed and looked back at Riley's face.
So, she had somewhat expected him to say something like this. But when he actually did, it still shook her. However, trying her best to remain indifferent, Riley smiled.
