Third-Person Point of View
Riley went to the store on time and started working. Even though she came to work because she couldn't afford to take a leave, she was afraid Eash might come in the evening. She had no idea what she should do if he did.
However, around 6 in the evening, she received a text from Eash.
"Did you go to work? I won't be able to pick you up today. I don't feel well. I think it's better to take a rest."
Riley stared at the text for a few seconds, then laughed at herself for worrying about Eash coming to see her in the evening. It seemed like she had worried for nothing. He had no intention of seeing her. It was also clear to her that Eash's so-called sickness was just fake.
As he had said in the past, he was a dominant alpha and wasn't bothered about a bit of sickn
